At 8:30 am they delivered
Cheri’s medicine for the next seven days, two big boxes. It had to be unpacked
and refrigerated. The nurse came at 9:00 am to show me how to set things up and
how to do the IV drip. Cheri has two medicines that go through the pick line. One
takes about five minutes and the other one takes at least two hours. It is
quite the processes and the nurse will be back tomorrow to watch me and make
sure I do it right. So it was 1:00 pm before we were done with the IV for the
day. I tried to watch the rest of the Wisconsin Badger football game and had
trouble staying awake. So when I wasn’t taking care of Cheri I spent most of my
time napping. We did have pizza for a late lunch and then this evening it was
English muffins with peanut butter. We did watch some of the new fall shows
this evening which I miss most of by napping. Thank you God for sending us a
really good nurse and helping us through this day. We didn’t watch the church
service today as I know I could stay awake for it. They had problems and couldn’t
get the Sunday school lesson on Facebook.
