First I need to make a
correction as I had said that we eat breakfast at the Sweet Pea which was wrong
it was the Black Eyed Pea. I think Sweet Pea sounds better. I left the house
for my 7:00 am PT, they worked me over pretty good and had pain most of the day.
Cheri was busy with laundry and then went shopping with Lou, a friend here in
the park. Lou is looking for material for a curtain that Cheri will make for
her. I worked outside on the electrical project. I got all the conduit up and
all the wiring pulled in, all that is left is to make the connections. Our
neighbor brought over food that he had leftover as he is leaving and heading
north for summer. I also helped him cover his car. Dennis and Sue picked us up
to go out for dinner at Glory Days over in Wesley Chapel. It was the first time
for Cheri and me. The food was pretty good but nothing special. Yes we would go
back again. We were back home by 6:00 pm. We settled in for an evening of TV.
Had trouble finding something to watch, settled for some home improvement
shows. We also had a call from Larry and Denise, sure good to talk with them.
They are still in lock down from the virus. Thank you God for a good day.

Cheri and I left the house
around 7:30 am heading to Dade City to have breakfast at the Sweet Pea. After
breakfast we dropped off some paper work at the funeral home. Then a stop at
Larry and Denise’s to check their house but couldn’t get the key into the lock.
I need to get some WD 40 to lube it. Then took the car through the car wash.
When we got home Cheri and I both did our exercises. I fixed a leaking bathroom
faucet for a friends here in our park. Then a stop at Lowes to get the WD 40
and back at Larry and Denise’s, everything looks good. On the way back home I
took the truck through the car wash. This afternoon we went to visit friends
that had been in the hospital. It was good to see them and they have a long
ways to go to get healthy again. When we got home I did my exercises again
while Cheri make supper. She fixed us a French bread loaf. This evening we
watched FBI, FBI Most Wanted, a home improvement show, and the movie Fireproof.
Thank you God for a blessed day.

I left the house at 6:30
am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study.
We studied the first part of Acts chapter 15. Still have hot water in the
Sunday school building, so that problem is solved. On the way home I stopped at
Lowes to get more electrical materials for the carport project. When I got home
Cheri was just finishing her breakfast and coffee. We both did our exercises at
the same time. I had gotten a call from Donna Perkins and has a window that she
can’t open and thought there was a problem with the level of the house. So I
went over to check it out. The window needed to have the left track cleaned and
lubricated. She thought the house was settling because the skirting was bucking
in on the house. The house is ok just the washed gravel around the base of the
skirting was piled to close and was pushing the skirting under the house. Donna
will be leaving next week going north for the summer. She has offered Cheri and
me to use her golf cart for the summer. So we will have a golf cart to ride
around the park. Thank you Donna. This afternoon I worked on the new outside
light and got it working, just needed to readjust the wiring. Supper was a
repeat of yesterday of more brats and corn on the cob. Out evening was the Good
Doctor, Bull, All Rise, and a Hallmark movie. Thank you God for guiding us
through this day.

Once again I didn’t do the
morning walk, still having problems with the sciatic nerve. I had a physical therapy
at 9:00 am. I was given a good workout to stretch the muscles in my shoulder,
came home with more pain than I went with. Cheri went for groceries and
medications while I was at physical therapy and got home just after me. After
we rested a bit Cheri fixed us an early lunch. After lunch I headed to Dade
City to check out the water heater in our Sunday school building as there wasn’t
any hot water yesterday. As it turned out it was the breaker on the water
heater thermostat that needed to be rest. Not sure why it tripped but was
working when I left. I will be able to check it out tomorrow as we have our
accountability group breakfast and Bible study there. When I got home I worked
on installing the new outside light by the front door. After that was done I worked
on the carport electrical project. I got some more of the conduit installed. I
quit at 3:30 pm. Time for a shower and getting cleaned up. Cheri fixed us brats
and corn on the cob for supper. It was a normal evening of watching TV and had
a bag of popcorn while watching a movie. Before we called it a night we went
out to check the new light but it didn’t work, not sure what the problem is and
will check it out tomorrow. Thank you God for a blessed day helping us stay
healthy and safe.

I managed to get my exercises
done before leaving for church. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Praying for
the church” from Colossians 1:9-14. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Remembered”
from Luke 22:7-20. Jesus’ costly sacrifice should be remembered by believers.
Normally I order pizza in the morning to have ready to be picked up at 1:00 pm.
I didn’t do that this morning in case some church friends wanted to go out for
lunch. But that didn’t happen so I ordered it before we left the parking lot at
church. It was ready for pick up when we got to Zephyrhills. Our afternoon was
spent watching movies and the NASCR race. For supper we spent a spicy Italian sub
that we got with the pizza. We watched another movie this evening along with a
home improvement show. Thank you God for time spent with you and church
friends.

It was another morning without
my walk. Cheri and I did go out for breakfast at the Village Inn. It seems so
good to be going out for breakfast again. On the way home we filled the car
with gas. It was time for me and Cheri to get busy and do our exercises. I had
an appointment with a church friend that wanted me to help him build a door
frame to cover his breaker panel box. We had I done by noon and back home by
12:30 pm. Cheri was busy with laundry and also made a trip to Wal-Mart for
groceries along with many other things we needed. She also got home at 12:30
pm. I was able to help her with the groceries. After lunch I went out to see
about reinstalling the electrical outlets I had to remove for the carport extension.
I see I needed some materials so I asked Cheri to go with me to Lowes as we
need a new outside light by the front door and wanted Cheri to pick out what
she wanted but couldn’t find one she liked. After we got home we searched the
internet looking for something she liked but couldn’t find what she wanted. We
did settle for something different and should be here tomorrow. It was too late
to go back to work outside so I did my evening exercises. Cheri fixed us French
toast for supper and then settled in for the evening watching shows we at
recorded, don’t remember what all we watched. Thank you God for a blessed day
and keeping us healthy and safe from the virus.

I am still not walking in
the morning. I do miss it but need to get well. I had a physical therapy appointment
for my shoulder this morning. It went well and also got some exercises I can do
for the sciatic nerve. I was pretty sore this afternoon and didn’t do any work,
just read and napped. Cheri was busy with her normal housework and laundry. This
evening I did the exercises that I need to do twice a day which take about 40 minutes.
This evening we watched the Chicago shows and a Hallmark movie. Thank you God
for helping us through this day.
Gay April-21-21

I did try to do my morning
walk but didn’t get very far, too much pain. I had a 7:30 am lab appointment
here in Zephyrhills for an upcoming doctor appointment. Cheri was busy with her
morning exercises and housework. I worked outside in my shop. About six months
ago I lost power in half of my shop. I was able to run an extension cord for
the water softener so didn’t take time to work on it as I had other work to do.
Well today was the day to work on it. I had to pull the skirting along the wall
in the shop. I stated pulling on the wire and found an electrical plug on the
end of the wire. I found a power out let under the house and they plugged the
wire into it and it came unplugged. So who ever wired the shop did it wrong. So
I added new wire from the breaker box. By 3:00 pm I was done and ready for a
shower. Cheri fixed us swift Swiss steak and baked beans for supper. This evening
we were invited over to Mike’s to visit and played three games of aggravation
and I was the winner of all three games which is a rarity. Thank you God for
guiding us through this day.

No walk again today as my
sciatic nerve is still giving me a lot of pain when I walk or sit wrong. I left
the house at 6:30 am heading to Dade City for my accountability group breakfast
and Bible study. Our study leader couldn’t be there this morning so I and
another guy lead the group this morning. We studied Acts chapter 14. There were
eight of us as some of the guys have headed back north for the summer. When I
got home Cheri was doing her walking and exercises. I had an appointment at
9:30 am to change out a vanity top and install new faucets. Things went well
and was done and home by 12:30 pm. While I was taking a shower Cheri got our
lunch ready. After lunch we sat and read most of the afternoon along with a
nap. Cheri fixed us the leftover goulash for supper. This evening we watched
the Rookie, All Rise, 20-20, and the Good Doctor. Thank you God for a blessed
day.
Gay April-19-21

I didn’t walk again this
morning. It was another day of doing nothing. Dennis did come over with a
railing project that he wanted me to fix but it was too far gone to be
repaired, so he headed out to buy a new one. That was the extent of what I did
today. Cheri did her normal Monday housework and made me a batch of chocolate
chip cookies. The rest of the day was napping, reading, and watching TV. For supper Cheri found a recipe for old time goulash,
remember my mother making it when I was very young. Thank you God for taking
care of us today.
Gay April-18-21

I didn’t do the morning
walk as I need some healing time for my sciatic nerve. Never got out of the
house until it was time to leave for church. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “The
Glory of the Gospel” from Colossians 1:1-8. Our Sunday school lesson was titled
“Cornerstone” from Luke 20:9-19. God offers salvation through faith in Jesus
alone. After Sunday school we went out for lunch at Calver’s with Skip &
Joy and Dick & Linda. Skip and Joy are heading north tomorrow for the
summer and wanted time to say our goodbyes. We had a good visit and they will
be missed for the summer. It was close to 3:00 pm when we got home. We settled
in to watch a movie. After the movie it was time for me to start watching the
NASCAR race. When I got caught up to live TV I put it on hold and we watched
another movie. After the movie I watched the rest of the race. We also watch
When Calls the Heart which is one of Cheri’s favorite shows. Thank you God for
time spent with you and friends.
Gay April-17-21

I wasn’t able to finish
the morning wall, too much pain. I did go to the Hole-in-One donut shop to get
our normal Saturday morning breakfast. I worked on installing the new icemaker
but no ice was make. I didn’t feel like checking it out any farther today. The
rest of my day was spent in the recliner napping, reading, and watching TV. Cheri
is still doing all of her exercises for her knee. For lunch Cheri fixed grilled
cheese sandwiches with chips and a chocolate chip cookie. For supper she fixed
BQ beef on buns. We haven’t been out of the house the last few days except for
me trying the morning walk. Thank you God for helping us though this day.
Gay April-16-21

It was 64 degree this morning.
The walk was a real struggle for me. My hip and leg pain was too much and had
trouble getting back to the house. I did get the laundry started for Cheri.
Cheri made pancakes for our breakfast. Cheri and I think my problem is the
sciatic nerve that is giving me trouble because it started with my back and
then moved to my hip and also pain down my leg now. I took two Alieves and headed to the recliner
after breakfast. By 9:30 am I was asleep and didn’t wake up until 1:30 pm.
Cheri fixed us soup for a late lunch and then watched a couple of movies. For
supper we had a combination of leftovers from the last couple of days. The new
ice maker came today and hope I can install that tomorrow. It was an evening of
more TV shows we had recorded. Thank you God for relaxing day.
Gay April-15-21

It was 63 degrees this
morning for the walk. It was a mostly cloudy day with the high in the low 80”s
with a strong breeze. I got the laundry started for Cheri this morning. I left
at 8:45 am to work over in Tampa Bay country. Today was my last day as I got
all the work done, glad to have this project done as more was added each time I
went to work there. It was 4:00 pm when I got home. I was ready for a hot
shower. The hot water felt good on my bad shoulder and my hip that I have been
having trouble with for the last month. Cheri
was busy making shrimp scampi for supper. It is a dish I really like and as
usual when we have it I eat too much. This evening we had a hard time finding
something to watch. We did watch Expedition X and a couple of home improvement shows
before calling if a night. Thank you God for guiding us through this day
keeping us healthy and safe.
Gay April-14-21

My normal day starts at
4:00 am. I have my quite time with God. Then get the coffee ready to start
later. Get Cheri’s and my pills ready to take after breakfast. At 4:48 am I
leave the house to meet Denis on the morning walk. When I get home I write the
blog from what happed yesterday. After that is done I check the news on line,
check the bank, check Face Book, and read the e-mails. Next I start the coffee
pot and go and check on Cheri. By now it is 7:00 am and turn on the TV to catch
the morning news. Normally I would eat breakfast but this morning after I got
ready we went out for breakfast at Rick’s café. It was around 7:30 am when we
got there. It has been over a year since we have gone out for breakfast. Later
I had a haircut appointment at 9:45 am. On the way home I made a stop at the
bank and Lowes. After I was done with
that Cheri and I headed to National cemetery in Bushnell. We wanted see what we
had to do to be buried there. All that is needed at time of death is my DD 214
and a copy of our marriage license. On the way home we stopped in Dade City to
have lunch at Tina and Joe’s café. Cheri had a lobster roll and side salad and
I had a Cuban sandwich with a cucumber salad. When we got home I changed my
clothes and went out and loaded the truck for work tomorrow. Later I napped
while Cheri watched a movie. After I woke up we watched home improvement shows,
Gold Rush, and Tough as Nails. Because of the big lunch we only snacked for
supper. After we got to bed we watched Cold Case Files. Thank you God for a
relaxing day spent with Cheri and safe travels.
Gay April-13-21

The temp was down to 57
degree this morning but warmed to the upper 80’s today. I left the house at
6:30 am heading to Dade City for our accountability breakfast and Bible study.
Normally everyone brings their own breakfast. Well it was different this
morning as I made coffee and Jim Wilson brought biscuits and gravy for
everyone. It was a good breakfast and Bible study in Acts chapter 13. It was
after 9:00 am when I got home. The work I was supposed to do today was
postponed until Thursday. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do today until the doorbell
rang and a couple I have done work before wanted me to remove three window awnings.
So I headed over and got them removed. When I got home I unloaded the truck and
then loaded all the scrap metal I had saved. After lunch I took it to the scrap
yard and received $28 dollars. When I got home I headed for the shower to get
cleaned up. I got a call from the VA and finally got physical therapy set up
for my shoulder stating on April 22nd. After that it was time to
call sprint again as our phone bill for this month was wrong again. It took
over an hour on the phone to get it straighten out. By the time this was all
done it was 4:00 pm and I was exhausted. Cheri fixed us Italian Sausage ravioli
and fried bread dough for supper. After supper we got a call from Darren and
Brooke. It was nice to do face time with Wyatt, sure is a busy little boy. This
evening we watched Rock the Block and Cold Case files. Thank you God for
guiding us through this day keeping us heathy and safe.
Gay April-12-21

It was 64 degrees this morning
and warmed to the mid 80’s. I worked on removing the ice maker from the refrigerator
this morning before we left for a 10:00 am appointment with Hodges Family
Funeral Home to set up our cremation. We got everything set up and paid for so
our family doesn’t have to do anything. It was noon when we got done and decided
to stop at BK for lunch and a stop at Publix for a few groceries as they had
New York strip steaks on sale. When we got home I continued with the ice maker.
I managed to get a new one ordered which will be here on Wednesday and hope
that fixes the problem. I also got a call from the VA and wants to set up physical
therapy on my shoulder which has been going on six months waiting to get
something done. A church friend had some roof damage from the storm Saturday
night and told him if he couldn’t get someone to fix it that I would take care
of it and he said that he would call me. Not hearing anything I called him and
it went to voice mail, he never did call me. So what was left of the afternoon was
used to read but ended up napping. Cheri fixed the steak and baked potatoes for
supper. The steak was OK but nothing special and was disappointed. It was a
normal evening of TV. Thank you God for helping us through this day.
Gay April-11-21

It was 61 degree this morning
for the walk. It was only in the upper 70’s today because of the rain which
started around 10:30 am and last on and off all day. It was a nice soaking rain
which we really needed. We had the Lords Supper in church today. Pastor Randy’s
message was titled “No Other Table” from 1 Corinthians 11:23-32. Our Sunday
school lesson was titled “Sinner?” from Luke 19-1-10. I tried to order pizza
this morning but their online ordering was down. So waited until after Sunday
school and called to order and was put on hold so after five minutes I hung up
and we went home to have pizza from the freezer. At 3:00 pm we went to visit
some church friends as Jim Wilson had surgery to clean out the artery in his
neck. It was around 6:30 pm when we got home. Cheri read and I settled in to
watch the NASCAR race that had been rained out. Thank you God for a blessed day
and spending time with you and church friends.
Gay April-10-21

Wow, it was 71 degrees
this morning for the walk and to the mid 80’s for a high. I worked over at Mike
and Pam’s on the shop project. Pam called Cheri and had her come over to visit
while Mike and I finished the shop project. It was around 2:30 pm when we got
done. We sat and visited for a while before heading home. When we got home I
unloaded some of stuff I had taken over to Mike and Pam’s but only enough so I
could lock the truck bed. After I showered I headed for Jersey Mike’s for sub
sandwiches. We didn’t stop for lunch today and was hungry. So it was an early supper.
We sat in front of the TV while eating our subs and after that was done I was
soon napping. Around 4:30 pm we had strong wind come through and guess it was at least a 50 mile an hour wind but only lasted about 30 seconds. The house behind us was having a party with a huge blow water slide and and trampoline which ended up against our fence in a pile which I am sure it was heavily damaged, only got about a 1/4 inch of rain. Later after my nap and got woke up we watched Blue Bloods, Date Line, and
the NASCAR race that was in a rain delay. We ended up going to bed before it
got started. We started to watch Magnum PI but fell asleep before it got over.
Thank you God for good friends and helping us through this day.

It was warmer this morning
for the walk, 58 degrees and a high in the low 80’s. At 9:30 am Mike (next door
neighbor) and I headed out to the church property to fly our drones. It has
been a year since we last flew them. I was worry that I might not remember what
I was supposed to do to fly. But it soon came back to me. Mike wasn’t able to
fly his drone as he forgot to charge the control unit. So we took turns flying
mine. It was still a good time to do some guy time. It is the first we have
done anything since his wife Kathy passed. It was round 11:30 am when we got
home. Mike plans on heading north for the summer and I am going to keep an eye
on his Tesla and will contact me if it needs to be charged. While we were
flying Cheri made a lemon pie and Rubin sandwiches for lunch. I was going to go over to Mike and Pam’s this
afternoon but after having lunch I was too lazy to get up and get going. Ended
up napping most of the afternoon. Cheri read and did some napping. Cheri fixed
a hamburger and sliced potatoes with onions and butter from the microwave. It
was a normal evening of TV watching the Chicago shows, Seal Team, and Swat
before calling it a night. Thank you God for a blessed day.
Gay April-8-21

I had a good walk this
morning and the temp today was the same as yesterday. I checked out the ice
maker in the refrigerator as I had turned the water off because it was leaking
water. It was also froze up. I did get it thawed out and turned the water back
on. We left the house at 9:30 am heading to Dade City to have our 10:00 am tax
appointment. Well because of the COVID we weren’t allowed in and was met at the
door. They took all of our information and said that they were an hour behind
as the internet was down. They were only working until 12:30 pm. If they didn’t
get the taxes done we would have to come back next week to pick them up. While
they were working on them Cheri and I did some shopping in Dade City and then
waited in the parking lot for the taxes. We got a call at 12:20 pm letting us
know that they were done. When we got home we had a late lunch and then I cut
some trim material for Mike and Pam shop project. So it was after 2:00 pm
before I was able to start on the project. I did get all the trim and
electrical done by 5:30 pm. I still have some caulking to do and install a
shelf or two. Cheri fixed us breakfast for supper, eggs, bacon, hash browns,
and English muffins along with some orange juice. We watched some Alaskan wild
life shows, don’t remember the name of it. Thank you God for helping us through
this day keeping us healthy and safe.
Gay April-7-21

Today was repeat of
yesterday, very nice day. I started work at Mike and Pam’s at 9:00 am. I was
sure we would get done today but it wasn’t going to happen. All that is left to
do is some trim work, caulking, and electrical. Pam fixed us lunch again today.
Mike and I did make a trip to Lowes for the additional trim we are going to put
up around the ceiling. It will help to give the project a finished look. It was
near 4:00 pm when I got home. Cheri had been busy with filling out some paper
work that we need for our tax appointment tomorrow. After my shower I had an
hour nap that helped me feel better. Cheri fixed us leftovers for supper. This evening
we watched a home improvement show, FBI Most Wanted, and FBI. Thank you God for
guiding us through the day.
Gay April-6-21

It was 56 degrees this
morning nice for the walk with a light jacket. It did warm up into the high 80’s.
I left the house at 6:30 am heading to Dade City for my accountability
breakfast and Bible study. We were studying Acts chapter 13. When I got home
Cheri had gone for her haircut. I only got to see her a few minutes before I
left to work on the shop project for Mike and Pam. Things went well but didn’t
get as much done as I thought I would. It was around 4:00 pm when I got home.
Cheri and I visited for a while before I headed to the shower. We have a
problem with our refrigerator ice maker as some times it freezes up and have to
use a hair drier to thaw it out. Well it is frozen up again but is also leaking
water. So this evening I shut off the water to the refrigerator, another home
project to work on. Cheri made us a green bean, chicken, and rice casserole for
supper. This evening we watched Rock the Block, America’s Most Wanted, and Building
off the Grid. Thank you God for a blessed day.

Gay April-5-21

Today was the same as yesterday temp wise but a little more humidity. I left the house at 9:15 am to work for Pam and Mike doing the paneling and peg board in Mike’s work shop. We worked on it until 4:00 pm. We got two of the wall almost done but have trim and electrical work to finish on them. I was home by 4:15 pm, nice to work closer to home with less travel time. Cheri and I visited for a while before heading to the shower. Cheri has been updating all of our information for our daughter Nikki, in case something happens with us. It is something Cheri has been wanting to do as it hasn’t been updated for several years. Dick and Linda gave us some of the leftover food from our dinner on Sunday so that was what we had for supper this evening. I tried to watch some TV this evening but slept through most of what we were watching so called it a night early. Thank you God for helping us through this day keeping us healthy and safe.
Gay April-4-21

He as Risen! It was 51
degrees this morning for my walk and then warmed up to the upper 70’s for a beautiful
day. Pastor Randy’s message today was titled “We glorify Him through the
resurrection” from Philippians 3:7-11. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Resurrected”
from Luke 24:1-12. Jesus is the resurrected Savior and Lord. It was around 1:00
pm when we got home. Cheri was busy making a green bean casserole to take over
to church friends for dinner at 3:00 pm. There were 10 of us for dinner and had
a good time. It was near 7:00 pm when we got home. We watched a movie we had
seen before but couldn’t remember much about it. Thank you God for spending
time with you and church friends.
Gay April-3-21

This morning and day were
the same as yesterday as far as the weather goes. I made the usual Saturday
morning trip to the Hole-in-One donut shop for our breakfast sandwich and cinnamon
rolls. I picked up Mike 10:00 am and went to Lowes to pick up the peg board and
paneling he wants to install in his work shop. I will be starting on the
project Monday morning. When I got home I got the table saw out and cut up some
firing strips for Mike’s shop project. I quit for lunch and went down to the
club house to pick up the meal they fixed for Easter Sunday but we had ours for
lunch today was really good with ham, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole,
sweet potatoes, and cake for dessert.
After lunch I was back out cutting more firing strips and getting the truck
loaded for Monday. Later this afternoon I tried reading and watching TV but
once again couldn’t stay awake. Cheri spent the day relaxing, reading, and
watching TV. Early evening I finally came around and was able to watch some TV.
We watched Gold Rush, Dateline’ and Frist 48 Hours before calling it a night.
Thank you God for guiding us through this day.
Gay April-2-21

It was 20 degrees colder
this morning for the walk and a high of 71 degrees plus a good breeze. I left
the house at 8:45 am heading back to Tampa Bay country to finish the bathroom
project. I got the counter top, backsplash, light, mirror, water lines, and drain all
installed and hooked up. I also got the caulking done. I removed the bathroom
fan and cleaned it from all the dust when I was sanding the wall. I also
removed the drapery brackets so the painting can be done and wants them up
higher on the wall which I will have to go back for along with installing the
vanity doors she is painting. I put a thin coat of plaster on a half wall that
was rough from plaster texture. I was home by 4:00 pm and then cleaned out the
truck getting it ready for tomorrow. Cheri was busy with laundry and grocery
shopping. I went to Culver’s for a three piece fish dinner that Cheri and split
and still had enough to eat. I was tired and couldn’t stay awake to watch any
TV. So at 8:00 pm I gave up and went to bed. Thank you God for a blessed a
blessed day.

Gay April-1-21

Being April fool’s Day I
was ready for any pranks that would be pulled on me, but nothing happened. I
had a full day’s work laid out. First I had a ceiling fan to change out in
Tampa Bay country. Normally it takes around two hours to do the job. But today
it was over three hours as it was a ceiling hugger and had to take it all apart
to get it removed. So I was worried about all the other work I had to do today.
When I got a call from the bathroom project wanting to know if I could come
tomorrow and not today. Well God worked it all out for me. All I had left after
the fan was to install a new breaker and move a circuit to the new breaker. So
long story short I was home at 2:30 pm. By the time I got the truck restocked
it was after 3:00 pm. So things worked out well but put me a day behind on
another project I was supposed to start on tomorrow. Cheri was busy with laundry,
a visit with Jean, and a visit to a new dentinal office. Cheri needs a new
crown and was told it would be $1700.00. Which is almost double from three
years ago. So checking with the new dental office the price is going to be
$1000.00. Cheri had them checking to make sure how much our dental insurance
will cover. If it covers what they say it will we will be changing our family
dentist. After my shower I settled in the recliner for an hours nap before
supper. Cheri fixed us spaghetti and garlic butter on an English muffin. This
evening we watched all the Chicago shows. Thank you God for helping us through
this day and taking some of the load from my work schedule.

The last day of March,
hard to believe it is gone already. The snow birds should be going back north so
the traffic shouldn’t be as bad. It was 69 degrees this morning, don’t know
what the high was but hot. I had a dental appointment at 9:00 am and Cheri’s
was at 10:00 am. I had a 10:00 am appointment with Donna Perkins to install a
new bedroom fan. I was done and home by noon. I rested a bit after lunch and
then went to Lowes to get a few things I need for tomorrow. Well Lowes didn’t
have the trim I needed so went to Home Depot and they didn’t have it either. I
talked to the trim guy and said they didn’t make the trim I needed anymore. So
I bought something similar that might work but will be more work for me. I also
stopped at Harbor Freight to get some crown staples for project I will be doing
nest week. It was 4:00 pm when I got home. Cheri had been busy with house work
and checking on a different dentist as the price of crowns has more than
doubled in the last three years at our dentist. We had leftover beef stroganoff
for supper, tasted better than yesterday. We watched NCIS New Orleans and NCIS
LA before calling it a night. Thank you God for keeping us heathy and safe.
