Gay April-12-21

It was 64 degrees this morning
and warmed to the mid 80’s. I worked on removing the ice maker from the refrigerator
this morning before we left for a 10:00 am appointment with Hodges Family
Funeral Home to set up our cremation. We got everything set up and paid for so
our family doesn’t have to do anything. It was noon when we got done and decided
to stop at BK for lunch and a stop at Publix for a few groceries as they had
New York strip steaks on sale. When we got home I continued with the ice maker.
I managed to get a new one ordered which will be here on Wednesday and hope
that fixes the problem. I also got a call from the VA and wants to set up physical
therapy on my shoulder which has been going on six months waiting to get
something done. A church friend had some roof damage from the storm Saturday
night and told him if he couldn’t get someone to fix it that I would take care
of it and he said that he would call me. Not hearing anything I called him and
it went to voice mail, he never did call me. So what was left of the afternoon was
used to read but ended up napping. Cheri fixed the steak and baked potatoes for
supper. The steak was OK but nothing special and was disappointed. It was a
normal evening of TV. Thank you God for helping us through this day.
