Gay July-2-21

After breakfast it was
back to the painting project. Cheri started the day with laundry before
painting. She continues painting the doors and trim. I started preparing another
wall and got the first coat of paint on the crown molding. I also got door
hinges replaced and new lock sets installed. I had to remove the door stop
molding as with the paint on it the doors wouldn’t close. I still have to
reinstall the molding and then Cheri will have to do some touch up painting. We
were done by 3:00 pm as we had to get cleaned up to pick up Dennis and Sue to
go out for dinner at Applebee’s. We were surprised because it wasn’t very busy
as it is always busy when we go. On the way home we got phone call from
Gayloria Rude. She is the lady I have done all the work for and put their house
up for sale so they could move back to Wisconsin. Well they were on their way
back to Wisconsin when her husband Ted had a heart attack and passed away
yesterday. It made for a sad ending to the day. We did have some rain last
night but only a ¼ inch. Thank you God for helping us through this day and time
spent with friends.
