Gay Sept-9-10

The first thing I do after I get up is to make coffee. Well this morning after our walk we didn’t have any water. But the coffee was ready. One good thing about living in an RV is all I had to do was turn on the water pump and we could use our on board water. It seems like we have this happen once or twice a year. I never keep very much water on board because I don’t want it to get stale. Well Cheri forgot and started a load of laundry. After the laundry was done we were very low on water. It was after 4:00 pm before we got water again. I guess the pump went out at the well. The nurse came at noon to see Grandma. This was her last visit. She was so impress with Grandma because of all the things she does for her age. She said that if she is ever in Baker Acers again that she would stop to say hi to Grandma. We played dominos after the nurse left and it was getting hot in the trailer. Ever since we had the new air conditioner put in it seems that it can’t keep up on hot days. If you have followed our blogs then you know it has been an ongoing problem. I was pretty upset and made a trip to Bahrs plumbing and heating to have a talk with the manager. Well I never got to talk to him. But they said they would send someone out to check it out tomorrow. I said that wasn’t good enough and wanted to have someone come today and fix the problem. They did come around 4:30 pm. They determined the return air intake wasn’t large enough. So we had to remove a drawer that was above the intake in order to enlarge the opening. Wow! What a different that made. They are coming back tomorrow to put in a larger filter and vent housing. I am pretty sure this will fix the problem. I asked them why we never had that problem with the old unit. They said that the new unit moves more air and was starving at the air return. Well tomorrow afternoon will tell the tale as it is suppose to be another hot day with a heat index of 110. Stay tuned and I will let you know how things turn out.
