Gay March-1-11

Shortly after I got up this morning it started to rain and was over by 9:30 am. We ended up with 2/10 of an inch. I figured it would be a good time to wash Grandma’s van with the dew and the rain it should be easier to wash. As soon as I got done Cheri took it and picked up Grandma to take her for her doctor’s appointment. It was a follow up visit from the cold she had. She told the doctor about a spot in her eye and the doctor said he had never seen anything like it before. So Cheri stopped at the eye doctor on the way home and got her an appointment for 1:00 pm. The eye doctor told her it was a small cist on the eye ball. If it didn’t bother her there wasn’t anything to worry about. If it did bother her later on she could have surgery on it and have it removed. While they were at the doctor I changed out the parts in Grandma’s toilet as it has been leaking. That was another good job to have done. This afternoon we went down to visit with Bud and Joyce. Bud and I set up our motorcycle ride for tomorrow. We had a good visit with a lot of laughs which is usually the case when we are visiting Bud and Joyce. This evening was our life group meeting. We studied a chapter on “How to Get Ready to Die without Pretending That It’s No Problem”. It was very interesting and we came away with a new outlook on dying.
