It was another slow day in the neighborhood as it was cold this morning, down to 49 degrees. It was the first time I have had to run the furnace in quite a while. We went up to Paul and Bev’s this morning to give them a card as it is their 50th wedding anniversary. So we visited and had coffee with them and planned on going out to eat this evening. It was noon before we got back home. I got a call from the tire store and I am taking the truck in tomorrow to get the tire problem corrected. After lunch Cheri and I sat down and watched some of the TV programs we had recorded. It was just too cold and windy to be outside. Paul and Bev picked us up at 4:00 pm and headed over to Wesley Chapel to eat at Remington’s steak house. Cheri and I had never been there before and it was very good. We each had the New York strip steak special. Then it was back to Paul and Bev’s to play dominos.
