Today
I feel like I have officially become an old man as I celebrated number 70. All
my life getting older never bothered me but there is something about being 70
seems old (I guess it is). Cheri and I went out to Golden Corral for breakfast.
Breakfast is my favorite meal and there is no better place then Golden Corral
as you get to have a little of everything. When we got home I did some computer
work and finished up the 5th wheel maintenance project that I started
yesterday, one more thing I can mark off my list. Cheri worked on her quilt bag
that she will use to take quilt and sewing projects to stores to get the
material she needs. In fact she finished it this afternoon. I will try to take
a picture of it tomorrow and post it. I tried to watch the Nation Wide NASCAR
race this afternoon but my eye lids got very heavy so I didn’t get to see the
whole race but did get to see the ending which was very good. Around 4:00 pm it
started to rain with thunder and lighting, but didn’t last long. Around 6:30 pm
we went for a walk and didn’t find anyone sitting out so we walked back home,
probably was a good thing as we weren’t home very long before it started to
rain again. We ended up getting a little over ½ inch of rain. I didn’t think it
was going to rain today so I watered our lawn and also Buds. So with the rain
the lawns should be good for a couple of days.
