It was a cool 71 degrees and very cloudy this morning and I figured it was a good time to continue hand washing on the 5th wheel. I got the rest of the right side done and now if we could have another cool dry day so I can get that part waxed. I was just finishing up when it started to rain and didn’t last very long. They have rain forecasted for the day but never really happened, just a few drops now and then. I managed to get the new cabinet we bought yesterday cut down so it would fit in the spot where Cheri wanted it. I was very pleased with the way it turned out. Cheri and I needed a few things from Wal-Mart and Lowe’s so we went out for lunch at Subway. We were in line when Cheri got a call from Pam as they just got done with Mike’s doctor appointment and was wondering if we wanted to go out for lunch. Long story short they joined us at Subway. Mike got a good report from the doctor telling him his heart is in great shape. We had a nice visit as it is the first time we have seen them since they returned from their trip north. I had asked Cheri if she could make something to hold the remotes that would hang from the arm of the recliner, so this afternoon Cheri took some material and made a remote holder. It looks and works great (she is so smart). This evening Mike and Pam picked us up and we went to church. Pastor Dean is doing a 9 week session on the first five books in the Bible. He only did the first 2 chapters of Genesis and it was so interesting and couldn’t believe how fast the time went by, can’t wait for next week to see what is next. Afterwards Mike & Pam, Ron & Sandy, and Cheri and I went to the Village Inn where they have free pie on Wednesdays if you buy a drink or something. It was a fun time to fill out the rest of the evening. Here are the pictures of Cheri’s new cabinet and her latest quilt project.
