Gay June-3-13

Cheri
went down for the morning exercise class and they were still cleaning the pool.
The guy that has been volunteering to do it has gone on vacation and now the maintenance
manager has to do it and he doesn’t get up very early so the ladies came home
and will go back this evening. I did several honey do jobs and mowed Bud’s
lawn. I had to wait until this afternoon to mow the lawn as it was hot and
muggy today and the grass didn’t want to dry. I put the bags and tour pack back
on the motorcycle and now have the wind screen in the 5th wheel to
clean and polish. When the sun hits the wind screen you can see real fine
scratches and I am going to try and polish them out. I also had to go and pay
rent as we have used up our seven months that we paid for back in November. We
didn’t think we would be here this summer; need to take care of Grandma, so no
traveling this year. It would be nice to get away for a short trip but it doesn’t
look like that is going to happen. Cheri has finished her table cloth quilt
project. I will try to get a picture to post tomorrow. We got a hard rain
around 3:30 pm, Cheri was wondering if the ladies were going to go for the exercise
class at 6:00 pm. I said you are going to get wet anyway and I just got the
look. Well the rain stopped and they went.
I
don’t know who wrote the following but I think it is a good lesson and wanted
to pass it on to everyone.
Noah's
Ark: Everything
I need to know, I learned from Noah's Ark.
ONE: Don't miss the boat.
TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat!
THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.
FOUR: Stay fit. When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.
FIVE: Don't listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.
SIX: Build your future on high ground.
SEVEN: For safety's sake, travel in pairs.
EIGHT: Speed isn't always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.
NINE: When you're stressed, float awhile.
TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.
ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there's always a rainbow waiting.
