Gay Nov-2-13

I
got up to a rainy morning, it rained all morning and part of the afternoon, I
checked the rain gage and we got a 1 ¼ inches of rain for the day. When Cheri
came out this morning she asked me if I wanted to go out for breakfast, I had
thought about it before she got up. We headed to Golden Corral as they have the
best breakfast with so many different choices. Then we headed to Lakeland and I
dropped Cheri off at Beall’s which is right next to Joan Fabrics to shop. I
headed to the Harley dealer for the performance work shop I signed up for last
week. The plan had been to ride the motorcycle but the rain put a stop to that.
When I got back to Joan Fabrics I called Cheri and she said that she just got
done shopping, great timing. When we got home Cheri had a lot of pictures for
me put up that had been in storage, later while I was out in the shed I could
hear some hammering coming from the house, when I got back inside Cheri had
already made a change to some of the pictures. My neighbor called and asked me
if I would come over to help him install some wind deflectors on his
motorcycle. He had to move the signal lights to make them fit and wanted some
help with the project. He had wanted to do it without cutting the wires but
that wasn’t possible. I went back to my place and got him some heat shrink and
my heat gun for him to use. We had brats for supper and Cheri did them in the
oven under the broiler and you would have thought they were done on the grill. We
are looking forward to the extra hour of sleep tonight.
