Gay Nov-23-13

We
met Mike and Pam for breakfast at the Village Inn at 8:00 am. They wanted to
meet Nikki and this morning was the only time we could get together because
they are leaving for Tennessee to be with their daughter and grandson for
Thanks Giving. After breakfast they followed us back to our park to shop the
Christmas Bazaar that was going on in the Club House. We said our goodbyes to
Mike and Pam. Then we picked up Mary L and the four of us headed to Treasure
Island to see the sand sculptures and visit all the vendors that where there.
Then it was time to walk the beach and get our feet wet. When we got back to
the car the battery was dead, the brake lights was stuck on again and had to
get jumped (yes I will it fixed tomorrow). We drove north along the Gulf and
stopped at John’s Pass so the girls could shop. I stayed in the van letting it
run to charge the battery. I had a nice parking spot in the shade so I stayed
cool without having to run the air conditioner. Then it was time to continue
north and find a place to eat. Pam told us about the Sea Breeze restaurant, so
that was where we stopped to eat. We had a wonderful meal and sat inside right
by a big picture window so we could see the water. Thanks Pam for telling us
about the Sea Breeze. We asked the waiter where we could get to the beach to
watch the sunset and he told us to go north a few blocks and we would see a
place where we could park and get to the beach. We found it without and trouble
and only had to wait for about 45 minutes for the sun to set. I wasn’t looking
forward to all the traffic to get home but it wasn’t bad and moved right along,
was home by 7:30 pm. God blessed us with the most beautiful day for our outing.
