Gay Dec-14-13

Cheri
and I were up before 5:00 am as we had the yard sale in Baker Acers. Larry came
around 6:15 am to help me load the truck and we were on our way by 6:30 am.
People were already coming around to buy things before we got everything set
up. It turned out to be a good day for us as well as Mike L and Mary; they sold
their park model yesterday. We sold most of the stuff we had and what we
brought back will go on the March yard sale here in our park. It was 1:30 pm by
the time we got everything put away and had a lunch of left over pizza. Cheri
drove Larry and Denise’s truck back to their place and I follow with the
motorcycle to pick her up. We visited a little while with them and then headed
home. We were tired and ended up taking a nap. This evening was our Christmas
dinner at the Club house. It was put on by the park managers. Everything was
catered in; all we had to do was show up. The dinner consisted of ham, seasoned
potatoes, green beans, and salad. Dessert was hot cherry cobbler with ice
cream. There were a lot of door prizes and music by a couple from the park manager’s
church. What a wonderful way to end the day that God made for us.
