Gay Dec-23-13

I
am not feeling very good this morning got with beginnings of a cold. You know
the kind that you feel like crap but not bad enough stop what you want to do.
While Cheri was at the pool I measured up what we need in the spare bedroom to
put selves in the closet. I got a piece of memory foam that we had on our bed
in the 5th wheel. It was taking up a lot of space so I got it laid
out to cut it down from a king size to a queen. That was when we got the e-mail
from Larry and Denise asking if we wanted to ride the motorcycles up to Webster
for the flea market. So that ended my foam project. The four of us were on the
road by 10:30 am. Larry and I had been there a few weeks ago and Cheri and
Denise wanted to go so this was their day. After we got done with the flea
market we went over to the Haystack restaurant for their buffet, turned out to
be a disaster as they were out of all meats except for chicken plus a lot of
other things. We will not be going back there again. When we got home I didn’t
feel like doing anything but had to finish the foam project. When we got done
with that we went to pick up our van as it was done so they told me on the
phone. He had a couple of minor things that needed to be done. So we will have
to go back on a Saturday to have it finished. We dropped off Mike and Pam’s
van. They have been so kind to let us use it for the last two weeks. Thanks
Mike and Pam until you are better paid. We got home just in time to pick up
Mike L and Mary and head to Dade City to eat at the Mexican restaurant, food
was very good as always. Cheri and I split a meal and with the tip it was
$11.00 for both of us. After we eat it was time to do the Church Street
Christmas walk. The walk is along about 6 blocks that are close to traffic.
There are five or six churches that is why they call it Church st. The entire houses
are dressed and light up with every kind of decorations and lights. There were several
places along the walk where you can stop and listen to live Christmas music. By
the time we got done with the walk I was starting to feel pretty bad. But we
did take a ride down on the south side of Zephyrhills to see a house and all
the lawn light up and the lights were dancing to the music. We got home a
little after 9:00 pm and Mike L and I still had to do security, it was a very
long two hours for me. When I got home I told Cheri I was going straight to bed
and would sleep in the spare bedroom so not to bother her.
