Gay Dec-5-13

It
was another perfect day temp wise as it was in the mid 70’s with lots of
sunshine. I had to get around this morning because I had a 9:00 am eye appointment
in Tampa. I took the motorcycle so Cheri could have the van to go down to the
pool. Well I would have taken the motorcycle anyway. Cheri did laundry and cleaned
house while I was at my appointment. It was near noon when I got home. After lunch
I asked Cheri if she wanted to go for a motorcycle ride down to Lakeland. I
want to see about getting the bike in to have it checked out after I installed
the new air clean, may have to have the computer remapped. Before we eat we
sent an e-mail to Larry and Denise to see if they wanted to go with us. Well a
short time later we got a call from them wanting to know if I wanted them to
pick up oil and a filter for my bike as they were at Lazy Days and were heading
for the Harley dealer in Lakeland. Long story short we met them at the Harley
dealer. I got an appointment next Thursday to have the bike checked out. Larry
and I checked out the new bikes and show Cheri and Denise which ones we want
and that Christmas was coming. The answer we both got was to keep dreaming.
From there we headed over to Sam’s to get some new playing cards as ours are
need to be replaced. Then a stop at Best Buy, Larry had a couple of things he
wanted to check out and then to the AT&T store as Larry and Denise are
having a problem with their phone, they may have to get a new one. Then it was
time to head downtown to eat at Harry’s Sea Food Bar & Grille. It has to be
my favorite place to eat. It was the first time for Larry and Denise and they
thought it was very good. After we eat we sat outside and waited an hour for
the Christmas parade to start. At 7:00 pm they shot off fireworks to start the
parade. We could hear them but couldn’t see them because of the buildings. They
only lasted six minutes. We watched part of the paraded and then decided to
head home, way too many people for my liking. We got home around 8:30 pm,
watched a little TV and called it a night.
