I couldn’t sleep, was awake at 2:00 am and finally got up at 4:00 am. It was supposed to be around 42 degrees this morning and it was 61 degrees when I got up. I was happy about that because Larry and I were going to Bike Week over in Daytona today. It was still 61 degrees at 6:00 am and then the bottom fell out. A cold front was on its way and the temp started dropping and the wind came up by 8:00 am when we left it was 52 degrees and wind gust at as high as 30 miles per hour. Long story short, it was a cold ride, the wind was so cold I kept looking for the ice berg. We arrived a little after 11:00 am. The first thing we did was look for a place that had hot coffee. Then we got held up by the food vendor and they didn’t even have a gun, the coffee was $4.00 per cup (small cup). Larry and I had fun looking at bikes and accessories plus all the other vendors. I did see something that I wanted for my bike, I saw it last year and wanted it then and I still want it now and probably will still want it next year. It is a faring with a quick release, goes in place of the stock windshield. Larry and I got home a little pass 6:00 pm. Cheri was gone and I knew she was with Denise. Will they came about 10 minutes after I got home. Denise had to wait this morning for LP to be put in their motor home and the guy didn’t show up until 3:00 pm, she was pretty upset as her and Cheri had plans to work on a quilt project that they are doing together. So they went to Panera Bread for supper and then to get Denise’s sewing machine for Cheri to use. It has some fancy stitches on it that Cheri doesn’t have on her machine (maybe a hint for a new machine).  Cheri wants to use it on the quilt project she is working on now.
