Gay Mar-26-14

Our cold weather has returned once again, it was 48 degrees this morning;
the high was 62 degrees and didn’t see that until 4:00 pm. It wouldn’t have
been all that bad but it was very windy. Cheri did go to the pool this morning
I told her I thought it would be too cold, but she went anyways, the pool was
too cold so they sat in the hot tub and visited. I went right to work on the
laundry closet and got the wet sanding done and now it is ready for paint. Mike
and Pam stopped over to see our laundry room and visited for a while, which was
good as I was ready for a break. I worked on hanging the door, which took
longer than I thought it would, but is now done. Cheri was busy working on her
new quilt project. This afternoon we both got haircuts and then a trip to Lowe’s
to get a lockset and some finishing materials. Tried to find some crown molding
to match the existing, no luck on that so not sure what I am going to do. I did
buy a piece that was a little smaller and maybe can make it work. We also
bought another bird feeder, the screen around the feeder we bought last week that
keeps the squirrels out has the opening too small and the birds the size of cardinals
can’t get to the feed. So this new feeder has a door on it and will close if a
squirrel ties to get to the food. We got home a little past 4:00 pm, I put up
the new feeder and now we will see what happens.
