Gay Mar-6-14

We
got rain this morning and made it hard to get any lumber cut outside. I did get
some done and at 12:30 pm I had run out of building materials. It was a good
stopping point and Cheri had just got home from getting her hair done along
with some shopping. After lunch I told Cheri we could go to Lowe’s to get the
materials I needed to continue working or we could go to the movie and see the Monument
Men. I wonder what her answer would be. Well we got to the theater a little
before 2:00 pm and there was a line that was out the front and down the side of
the theater, everyone else had the same idea. Good thing we had an umbrella in
the car, wasn’t raining hard but enough to get wet. Because of the long wait
the movie had started by the time we got to our seats. I was going to get some
popcorn but everyone else thought they needed some too so I skipped the
popcorn. It was an excellent movie with no foul language or sex. The people
that make movies need to get with it as good movies can be made without all the
crap. When we came out of the theater the rain was over so we went to Lowe’s to
get the materials I needed for the laundry closet. It was 5:30 pm by the time
we got home. I was tired and didn’t even unload the van. Cheri fixed supper and
we crashed in the recliners and watched some TV. I checked the rain gage when
we got home and had just under an inch and a half.
