Grandma
didn’t go to church with us this morning. We had a special speaker and there
wouldn’t be any message for Grandma to read so she was going to church with
friends from Baker Acers. The special speaker was presenting The Walk through
the Old Testament. We were showed how to remember using hand signals. It was
very stressful for me and Cheri. After church Ron & Sandy, Mike & Pam,
and Cheri and I went to Brandon for lunch at a new place called Corner Bakery Café.
The food was very good. While we were eating we discussed the church service
and we all thought it was too much to learn. There was going to be three more
hours of it this afternoon. Pam had the right idea about it as she said give me
an outline and a picture and she would get more out of it and we all agreed
with her. After lunch we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to pick up a shower curtain
that Denise wanted. She e-mailed us and asked Cheri if she could pick it up for
her as she couldn’t get it in Ontario. Then we went to Old Time Pottery where
Cheri found new lamps for our bedroom. After we got home we check our paint
supply and then went to Lowe’s to get the paint and a Wagner paint spray to
paint my new tool cabinet. After all was said and done it was 5:00 pm when we
finally got home. It was time for our Sunday evening pizza and an evening of
TV.
