Gay July-28-14

I
didn’t have any plans on what I was going to do today which is usual for me.
Needless to say I was slow about getting around this morning. It was almost 9:00
am before I was ready to get something done. I went over to the neighbors and
weeded the flower beds and then back home to start some of the clippings from
the Trinette Variegated Schefflera. If I can get some to grow I will plant them
in the rock garden in back of the house. A couple of weeks ago I started some
clippings of the Coleus and they are coming along nicely. I fixed some of the
solar lights that were coming down. A couple of the stick back clips didn’t
stick so I replaced them. I also got my shop cleaned up from working on the
tool cabinet. I was done before noon and was too hot to work outside anymore
today. Cheri was working on her Christmas wall hanging and things weren’t going
well for her as I heard her talking to herself. Shortly after that she came out
of the sewing room and said that she was done for the day. We got a call from
Larry and Denise telling us that they want us to go and check out a house for
them so I called the realtor and got an appointment for 10:00 am tomorrow. The
Wagner paint sprayer I ordered came this afternoon so I spent some time reading
the directions on how to take it apart and clean it as well as how to paint
with it. Reading directions is something new for me as I usually go right to
work with stuff and then read the directions if something doesn’t work right. Hopefully
I can get the tool cabinet painted this week. This evening we got a call from
Larry and Denise and told us that they were leaving tomorrow morning and coming
down, they should be here sometime Wednesday evening.
