Yesterday we made plans to go and see Norm and Marlene. We haven’t gone to see them because they moved 100 miles away and I didn’t want to go that far with the old van. So now that we have a nice new car we can make some of the trips that we have put off. We left here at 9:00 am and arrived at their place a little past 11:00 am. It was good to see them and see how they have decorated their new home. We visited for a while and then went out for lunch. Then back to their house for more visiting. Before we knew it was time to make the trip home. Marlene said next time we would meet half way for lunch and a visit. It was near 6:00 pm when we got home. We weren’t very hungry so Cheri fixed us an egg, sausage, and cheese sandwich. After we eat we headed to the recliners for an evening of TV. I checked the NFL network and to my surprise the Green Bay Packer was playing their preseason game with the Ram’s. OK now I am excited and never knew that I would be able to see any preseason games. The game was in the third quarter when I found it but still enjoyed watching the rest of the game. So it was a good day spent with friends.
