Grandma is still a little under the weather so she didn’t want to go to church today. So we decided to try a different church today. As we were driving into the church there was a sign that said if you are a first timer to turn on your hazard lights. So we did that and got special parking and we were met at the car by a person that took us into the church and showed us around and answered any questions that we might have. So we were off to a good start. We got seated and then the music started. I thought I was at a band concert with really load music, a display of lights and smoke. There was no way you could understand what they were singing. Then we were told that the message was to be delivered by video as the pastor was in Dade City. The message was on Game Changing. Some of it was interesting and related to the Bible but in the end it was really an advertisement for you to get involved with the church. I was really upset but it did make me more appetite of our church. On the way home Cheri and I discussed what had just happened and we said that if we wanted to watch a video we could have stayed home. There wasn’t any movement of Sprit for Cheri and me today. After we got home Cheri worked on her Christmas quilt and I went out and did more painting on the tool cabinet. The painting is done except for some touch up painting that I hope to get done tomorrow. I did watch the NASCAR race and was happy with the results. We are caught up on the shows we have recorded and had a hard time finding something to watch that was any good. Hard to believe that you can have a hundred different channels and still nothing to watch.
