After Cheri and I had our breakfast and coffee, she headed to the pool for her exercise and I to the sun room to do my exercise. The exercise bike display wouldn’t come on. I hadn’t been on it since last Thursday and that was the day we had the lighting strike. I checked it out and had power to it and no luck on getting it to come on, another casualty of the lighting strike. I worked outside on the tool cabinet and finished the touch up painting, put doors on. Now I need a few days of sun to bake the paint, otherwise it is done. This afternoon we went to Wal-Mart to get another telephone for the house, now I can get all the wiring and things back in place from the lighting strike. This afternoon I did some checking on line for parts for the exercise bike. The display that I need is no longer available. I even looked for used parts with no luck. Next I checked Craigslist and did find another exercise bike that has the same display has mine. The bike is a model 126 upright and mine is a model 226 recumbent. Mine was $500 when it was new and I can get the one from Craigslist for $125, the problem is that it is in Boca Raton which is about a four hour drive one way. Cheri worked on her Christmas wall hanging, changing some things that didn’t come out the way she wanted.
