Gay Dec-21-14

This being Sunday things
around the Sharp house doesn’t change much. We picked up Grandma and headed to
church. Pastor Randy’s message was from the book of John 1:1, 14 & 16 “The
Word Became Flesh” When we listen to Pastor Randy the time goes by so fast.
Sunday school was very good as always the lesson today was God Provides a
Savior (Luke 2:8-20). After church Mel & Jan, Mike & Pam, and Grandma,
and Cheri & me headed back to Zephyrhills for lunch at DI Maffio’s That’s
Amore, when we got there it was full and a long wait so we went to Island
Breeze. I have been disappointed the last couple of times we have been there,
out of things listed on the menu, time to cross them off our list of places to
eat, although they do make a very good Cuban sandwich. We had a nice visit and
soon it was over and time to depart for home. After we dropped Grandma off we
headed to CVS to get some special Christmas candy that Pam brought us last year
and this year. Well it must be real special because we didn’t find any and CVS
is the only place that we have found that carries it. We also went to Walgreens
to get our Blue Bell Ice cream that was on sale, also looked for the candy
there with no luck. It was 3:00 pm when we got home, I settled in for the Packer
game and Cheri with her I-pad. Tonight is the first night of the Church Street
Walk in Dade City. The street has five churches on it and all the houses are
decorated, people walking around singing Christmas carols, also other bands
playing music and singing. All the churches are open with Christmas programs.
We couldn’t decide if we were going or not. Then the rain came and made the decision
for us. It’s too bad that it had to rain because so much work goes into the
Church Street Walk, hopefully the next two nights will be rain free.
