Gay Dec-24-14

We had company for a while
this forenoon. My cousin Rick and Janis came over with Janis’s nephew Will and his
wife Tiffany. Tiffany is into quilting and Will is into motorcycles. So while
Cheri was showing Tiffany all of her quilts Rick, Will, and Janis where talking
about motorcycles. We also gave them the house tour. After they left Cheri and
I relaxed and napped into the afternoon. We did get a call from Nikki and Coz
this afternoon wishing us a Merry Christmas and telling us about their
Christmas. We picked up Grandma at 4:15 pm and headed to church for the 5:00 pm
Christmas Eve service. After the service we took Grandma for a ride around to
see all the Christmas lights. Just before we got to her place the wind came up
and the rain came down in sheets. I got soaked getting Grandma into the house
and her walker out of the car. When we got home I changed out of my wet clothes
and Cheri fixed us a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for supper. Then it was
time to get into the Christmas candy that Nikki made and sent down for us. I
think I gained five pounds just looking at the candy, of course we eat more
than we should, want to make sure none of it spoils. We pray for a very very
Merry Christmas to all of our family and friends. Take time to think about what
Christmas is really about.
