Gay Nov-10-15

I was busy all morning
changing out electrical receptacles, switches, and cover plates. Cheri was good
about getting what I needed for each receptacle and switch plus cleaning up
behind me. We worked until around 2:00 pm when Darren got home. We took
measurements to add a storage floor in the attic of the garage along with
lights and new electrical outlets in the garage. We also measured to add chair
rail to three bedrooms and hallway (about 230 feet). Then the three of us
headed to Home Depot to get the plywood for the attic, chair rail, and some
additional electrical materials. We got the electrical materials and then went
to the lumber department and found that they didn’t have enough of the chair
rail. They checked other Home Depots and found one that was about ten mile
farther away that had the chair rail so we headed there to get it. Long story
short we did get enough but had to take some damaged pieces. We got the plywood
and rented one of their trucks to haul it home. It worked out good getting the
truck as it only cost twenty dollars plus two gallon of gas. It was 5:30 pm
when we finally got home from returning the truck. After supper we hung a large
3’ by 5’ mirror on the wall in the dining room and one of Darren’s big pictures
(4’ by 4’) high on the wall by the open stairway to the loft.
