Gay Nov-6-15

It was a busy day for
Cheri and me. Cheri got the laundry started early this morning and spent time
in the sewing room cutting down our king size electric blanket to a queen size.
While I was working on the electrical we got a call from Jan telling us that
she was in the emergency room with Mel. His blood pressure was sky high and his
lungs full of fluids. She said that he was resting and doing better but was
going to admit him for the day to keep an eye on him. So after lunch we went to
see him and he looked good and said that he really could have gone home. The
doctor came in and listened to his heart and lungs. He said that he still had
fluid in the lower part of his lungs but was much better. I had some good news
today as the cabinet I ordered came. So I busy putting it together this
afternoon. I also got the upper cabinets installed in the office area plus one
additional cabinet in the kitchen. I only have four base cabinets left to
install and I will get them done tomorrow. Cheri called the stone yard and made
an appointment for Monday morning to come and measure up for the counter tops.
We were going to leave early Monday morning and head to Atlanta to spend a week
with Darren and Brooke. Our appointment is for 10:00 am and will be done by
11:00 am so we should be on the road to Atlanta by 11:30 am. The counter tops
should be ready to install when we get back from Atlanta. It was 6:00 pm before
I was done for the day.
