It was another 39 degree
morning but once again it warmed to the low 70’s. Grandma did go to church with
us. Pastor Randy’s message was all about love and how to handle difficult
people, something I needed to hear. In Sunday school we studied Matthew
13:1-13. Charlie did an excellent job explaining the parable on sowing. After
Sunday school we spend some time visiting with Mel and Jan before they went
home. It was good to see them in Sunday school. This afternoon I watched the
NASCAR race and also did some work on the crown molding. Cheri fixed some pasta
that we got Friday at Mazzaros Italian Market. It wasn’t as good as I thought
it would be. Cheri spent the rest of the afternoon reading and napping.

The cold weather has
returned again. It was 39 degree this morning and took a while before it warmed
to the high 60’s. I worked on the crown molding and the insert panel above the
kitchen sink. I think it is going to take a couple more days before I am done
with the crown molding. I miss calculated on the materials I needed for the
crown molding and made a trip to Lowe’s late this afternoon to get the
additional materials. Cheri finished her quilt project which is a diaper bag. I
haven’t heard what her next project is going to be. This evening we studied our
Sunday school lesson and settled in for an evening of TV.

It was another day with no
work done. I finally got an e-mail to take my sound bar in for repair. The
thing is I had to take it to St Pete which is 53 miles away for repair. So this
morning Cheri and I headed for St Pete. When we got to the repair shop I was
told that they don’t repair them and that we will get a new one. It will take
about two weeks for them to get it and then we will have to go and pick it up.
The guy there asked us if we were going to Mazzaros Italian Market which was
just done the street a couple of blocks. We said that we never heard of it
before. He told us as long as we were so close we should go. So we did and were
very surprised as it is a true Italian market. It was packed with people and
had a hard time finding a parking place. You could get anything you could ever
want or need dealing with Italian food. We did buy a couple of things and one
was some soup. So when we got home we had the soup for lunch which was very
good. We were only home for 45 minutes before we left to go and see the movie
Risen. It was a good movie to see although it wasn’t all true according to the
Bible but did give you some ideas on what might have happened. If it helps lost
sheep find their way to put their faith in God then it was good. It was after
4:00 pm when we got home. Cheri fixed us Ruben sandwiches for supper and then
settled in for an evening of TV.

There wasn’t any work done
in the Sharp’s house today. Last week I planned a motorcycle ride for today. I
had looked ahead at the weather last week and it looked like today would be the
best day of the week for a ride. Well it was partly sunny and in the low 60’s
which was ok but it was very windy which made for a motorcycle ride that wasn’t
the best. I guess all rides are good, just some are better than others. Our
ride took us to Clermont with a stop at the Harley dealer and McDonalds for
lunch. There were only three of us for the ride (Larry, Norm, and me) which was
140 miles and got home around 4:00 pm. Cheri and Denise went shopping today and
got home just a few minutes after Larry and I did. At 4:30 pm Cheri and I
headed to Wal-Mart to pick up Grandma’s medicine and take it over to her. Then
it was time for us to meet Mike and Pam for supper at Terra’s Restaurant. Cheri
and I each had a bowl of potato and ham soup. We didn’t think the soup was that
good as it didn’t have any flavor. This is the first time we have had something
there that wasn’t that great. After supper it was time for the four of us to go
to Ron and Sandy’s for our Life Group Gathering. It was another good night
studying Gods word and meeting with new friends.

The weather report was for
rain all day. Well for the most part they were right it started raining around
6:30 am. So being I couldn’t work outside I just was lazy and lounged around
this morning. Cheri on the other hand was busy doing house work, working in her
sewing room, and getting a corn beef in the crock pot so we could have corn
beef and cabbage for supper. I guess we are celebrating St Patrick’s Day a
little early. But will have enough corn beef to have Ruben sandwiches for a few
days which is really good. The rain stopped around 11:00 am so I headed out and
started cutting crown molding. I got one piece up and another cut and about
ready to put up. I am very happy with the piece that is up and looks good. Late
this afternoon Cheri and I were out and about taking care of some errands we
had to do plus a stop at the grocery store to get the cabbage for supper. I
checked the rain gauge and see that we received ½ inch.

No work for Cheri and me
today, decided to take a day off. This morning I asked Cheri if she wanted to
go to the flea market as we have been there only once since they opened last
fall when our daughter Nikki was here. When we got there we set a time when we
would meet back at the car. The flea market was much bigger than it was the last
time we were there with much more to see and look at so I called Cheri and told
her we needed to take another half hour to shop. We picked up Larry and Denise
at 12:15 pm as they had a lunch meeting to attend and invited us to go along.
Hard to pass up a free lunch. When we got back to Larry and Denise’s we played
a game of Hand, Knee, and Foot which Larry and I won. Then we took a break for
supper. Denise had some of her home made spaghetti along with fresh baked biscuits.
It was very good and as usual I eat too much. We played another game of Hand,
Knee, and Foot which Larry and I also won, good night for Larry and me. We also
had rain this afternoon and at times it rained really hard but was off and on.
Just checked the rain gauge and see there was only a trace of rain. I guess the
rain was where we were and not here at home.

Cheri and I were on the
road at 7:30 am heading to Tampa VA for my doctor’s appointment. I got a good
report and don’t have to go back for another year. We were done and on our way
home a little past 10:00 am. Grandma had given us a grocery and medicine list
yesterday so we thought that we would take care of that while we were out.
Cheri had called in for her medicine and was told it would be ready late
yesterday afternoon. So when we got to Wal-Mart I headed to the pharmacy to
pick up her medicine while Cheri started picking up groceries. Well I was told
that the medicine wasn’t ready which means we will have to make another trip to
Wal-Mart. We did get the groceries and dropped them off. It was just past noon
when we arrived home. Cheri fixed us a spinach salad along with some fruit
salad that was left over from Sunday school class for lunch. After lunch Cheri
went to the sewing room and I started working on the kitchen cabinet trim. I
reworked the top of one cabinet so I could attach the crown molding and also
got the light rail installed on one section of the cabinets. I was done by 4:00
pm and headed to the recliner where Cheri was and we both took a nap. Cheri
didn’t get much done in the sewing room as she said that she wasn’t in the
right frame of mind to do anything. It was another beautiful day with a high
temp in the mid 70’s.

Grandma went to church
with us this morning. It was nice to have her with us as it has been a while
since she last went. She has been having a lot of pain in her back and knee.
Pastor Randy continued with his last week’s message that he didn’t have time to
finish. I was about love and how we should treat other people. Charlie did an excellent
job with the Sunday school lesson. It was also good to see Mel and Jan at
Sunday school. Mel had really hard time as he needed the transport chair to get
back to the car. We didn’t go out for lunch today as we were having company
(Norm and Marlene) coming to visit. It was so good to see them as we don’t get
to see them very often since they move so far way. I also watched the Daytona
500 and Cheri was in her sewing room working on her project. This morning I was
able to leave the house without a jacket, been a while since I was able to do
that. I think our cold weather is over and spring is just around the corner.

Today was a good day for
Cheri and me. Cheri fixed me a big breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash browns, and English
muffin. Which met there wasn’t going to be any lunch today. Cheri worked most
of the day in her sewing room on her latest project. She was also busy later this
afternoon getting food ready for Sunday school tomorrow. I headed out side this
morning working on raking up the back lawn, got seven bags full of leaves. I
was going to do more but ran out of bags. I also cleaned the rain gutters,
worked on the bird feeders, cleaned leaves out of the flower bed. Later this
afternoon I made a trip over to Lowe’s to get salt for the water softener, a
new saw bade for my skill saw, and materials for the new kitchen crown molding.
When I got home I installed new blades in all of my saws getting them ready for
the kitchen finish work. I did a couple of sample cuts on the crown molding and
did it wrong so I check on the internet how to get it cut correctly. Googles
comes in handy for a lot of things. After watching a couple of videos I made a
couple of perfect cuts. Cheri and I were both done for the day around 4:00 pm.

I had a busy day doing
nothing, sounds crazy. I left the house at 9:00 am heading to Tampa for my
appointment at the VA. I was having an abdominal scan and had to be there 2 ½ hours
early because I had to drink two bottles of barium smoothie over a period of two
hours. The actual test only took about ten minutes. So it was around 1:30 pm
when I got back home. And to top it all off I wasn’t feeling that good this
morning as I got up with a headache and also had the trots from something I ate
yesterday. The only thing I had to eat that was different from what Cheri had
was a bowl of soup that I had at Panera Breads. So the rest of my day was spent
in the recliner. Cheri was busy doing house work and laundry when I left this
morning. When I got home she was busy in her sewing room working on her new
project. She fixed me a bowl of soup for a late lunch and went back to the
sewing room. Looking forward to a better day tomorrow.

Our day didn’t turn out
quite the way we thought it would. We were doing some checking on the phone and
internet on where to buy the 42 cup coffee maker. I finally told Cheri all we
have to do is go over to Staples which is only five minutes from here. Being it
is all about office equipment and I know I have seen coffee there before. So off
we go at 10:00 am to get the coffee pot. Well they don’t keep any in stock. We
were parked right by the place where I get my hair cut and they weren’t busy so
while I was getting my haircut Cheri was on her phone trying to find a place
that had the coffee maker. When I got back to the car Cheri was still trying to
find a place that had them in stock. I even called three restaurant supply
places with no luck. I had some things in the trunk of the car I needed to drop
off at the Re-Store. While I was doing that Cheri went into Big Lots and no
luck there. Cheri saw Larry and Denise there with her son and daughter in-law.
When I stopped to pick her up Larry and Rob were coming across the parking lot.
The lady that cut my hair told me that she thought Costco would have it. Larry
gave me his Costco card to use. So Cheri and I headed to Brandon to check out
Costco. No luck there and decided to check the Sam’s Club down there. On our
way there Cheri saw a K-Mart which we could get to the way we were going. So
after checking with Sam’s Club we drove back to K-Mart to check. I told Cheri I
was done pushing shopping carts around and wouldn’t need one. Well sure enough
there in the coffee pot isle was what we were looking for. By the time we got
home it was already past 3:30 pm. What an exhausting and stressful day. We need
to rest before meeting Mike and Pam for supper at Panera Breads at 5:30 pm.
After supper the four of us headed to Ron and Sandy’s for our Life Group
Gathering. It was another wonderful evening studying Gods word with friends.

It was 54 degrees this
morning and warmed to the low 70’s which was good because it was motorcycle
ride day. There were five of us for the ride. We rode over to the Harley Dealer
in Orlando. It is a place I don’t ride to very often because it is hard to get
to and the traffic is always bad and today was no exception. We were in stop
and go traffic for about three miles. We spent about an hour
there dreaming about how nice it would be to have a new bike. It was a little
after noon when we left and stopped a couple of blocks up the road at a
McDonalds for lunch. Then we headed north and west on some roads that I hadn’t
been on before. There were a lot of stop and go lights that sometimes is hard
for all of to get through at the same time but today that wasn’t a problem. We
also stopped at the Harley dealer in Lakeland (more dreaming). It was 4:45 pm
when we arrived home. Our ride was 154 miles. Cheri finished the quilt project
she had been working on and was already working on a new project. After supper
we went shopping over to Sam’s Club looking for a 42 cup coffee pot. We volunteered
to buy one for our Sunday school and thought that would be the place to find
one. They did have a 60 cup but no 42 cup pots. We also stopped at Wal-Mart
with no luck there. We did pick up some groceries and a few other things we
need. It was 7:30 pm when we got back home to settle in for an evening of TV.

We had rain in the night
and early this morning. I checked the rain gauge and we received ½ inch. I
thought it was supposed to rain most of the day but it cleared off and had a
beautiful day with the temp in the mid 70’s. Cheri worked on her quilt project
and I went out and cleaned up my outdoor work area. Today was trash day so I
was able to get rid of a lot of scrap lumber along with a few other things. Also
have some more things to take to the Res Store. Now I can get back to work on
doing the trim work in the kitchen. Mid-morning I got a call from Larry and
Denise wanting to know if we wanted to do a motorcycle ride to Plant City for
strawberry short cake leaving at 1:00 pm. Denise’s son Rob and his wife Melissa
are here for a couple of weeks and wanted to take them for strawberry short
cake. It sounded like a plan we couldn’t pass up. I think it is the first time
Cheri has been on the motorcycle in year. The strawberry short cake was good
and Cheri enjoyed the ride. Larry and Denise wanted us to play cards this
evening but we had a planning meeting at 7:00 pm at church.

I worked on the motorcycle
this forenoon. I was reworking a light on the back of the bike that is a tail
light and brake light. On the last motorcycle ride I bought a flashing strobe light
that you can change the flashing pattern. So using the parts from the one I
bought and the one I already have I thought I could come up with something that
I would like and look better. Well things didn’t turn out the way I wanted them
to. It ended up not being bright enough so it will be back to the drawing
board. That seem to be one of my problems as I am always taking something and
trying to make it work the way I want it too. Sometimes it works out other
times it doesn’t and this was one of those times it didn’t work. Cheri spent
her forenoon in the sewing room. This afternoon she said that she wanted to go
shopping at Home Goods to look around plus she wanted to shop at Michaels for
some Saint Patrick’s things to decorate with. While she was doing her shopping
I went to Best Buy to look around and bought a new case for my cell phone as
the old one broke the other day. Cheri didn’t find anything she wanted at Home
Good’s but did get some of the things she wanted at Michaels. We didn’t get
home until a little past 4:00 pm. We settled in for the evening watching some
movies I had recorded.

Happy Valentine’s Day to
everyone. Forty nine years ago today Cheri and I were engaged, the beginning of
a wonderful life together. Grandma e-mailed us yesterday to let us know she
wasn’t going to church today. She is having a lot of pain in her back and knee.
Four people from our church went to Cuba for a week to spread Gods word and
today they gave a very interesting report on their experience. Pastor Randy continued
his message on love. Mel and Jan made it to church and Sunday school today. It
has been many weeks since they were last there. After Sunday school they were
going out for lunch at Ruby Tuesday’s to celebrate Valentine’s Day and asked us
to join them. We had a good visit with a lot of laughs. Mel was very tired and
had a hard time getting to the car. After lunch we stopped by Grandma to how
she was doing and to drop off a card and candy from Jan Rogers who is a very
good friend with Grandma. It was 3:00 pm when we finally got home. The rest of
the day was spent reading, napping and watching TV.

We got a phone call from
Jan later in the evening telling us that Mel had fallen on the kitchen table and
broke the legs on it and wanted us to come up to see if I could fix it. So this
morning we were at their place at 9:00 am. The good thing was Mel didn’t get
hurt when he fell. The legs on each end of the table are fastened to a steel
plate and that is fastened to the table top. So when he fell it pulled the
steel plate from the table top. I moved the steel plate back an inch and
screwed it back to the table top and project completed. I had to go out to Mel
and Jan’s shed to get some screws and found that all the Christmas decorations
needed to be stored up on shelves so I took care of that for them. While Cheri
and I were working on the table Cheri told Jan she could go shopping and we
would watch Mel. When she returned we visited for a while and then headed home.
After lunch Cheri headed to her sewing room to continue working on the quilt
project she was having trouble with yesterday. I headed out to do more cleaning in my shop. I came in around 3:00 pm and told
Cheri I was done cleaning shop and she was ready for a break. We changed
clothes and headed to Lakeland so Cheri could go to JoAnn Fabrics and I to
return some grout additive I didn’t need. After that we went to Longhorn for
diner to celebrate Valentine’s Day a day early. We had a very good meal. On the
way home we stopped to get a few groceries. After putting the groceries away we
settled in for an evening of TV. NASCAR racing season started this evening with
the first race this season. So you know what we watched, me more than Cheri but
she was a good sport and watched some with me.

Not as cold this morning
and turned out to be a beautiful day with the temp in the mid 70’s in fact it
was much nicer than what had been predicted. Thing didn’t go as I had planned
for the day. The air conditioner/ heat pump was making a new and different
sound this morning. So I turned it off and spent most of the day taking it
apart and giving it a good cleaning along with doing a relevel job on it. The
good news is I didn’t find anything wrong mechanically but it did need a good
cleaning. It was a project that has been on my list for almost a year but I
didn’t know that today was going to be the day to get it done. It sounds better
running now, think maybe it was just a loose panel that was causing the
different sound. Cheri has started a new quilt project and said things weren’t going
well for her. It is a small project and thought she could get it done in one
day. I told her she should have walked away from it for the day. I am sure she
will finish it tomorrow.

It is still cold in
Florida but did warm up to be a pretty nice day as long as you were in the sun
away from the breeze. I had a doctor’s appointment late morning so no time to
get into a work project. So I spent time on the computer searching how to make
pull out pantry drawers for our kitchen cabinets. It will be a while before I tackle
that project but am looking forward to doing it. Cheri did her laundry,
ironing, and Thursday house work. It was a little past noon when I got home
from my appointment and all went well. Ron and Mary Jo Walton came at 1:00 pm
to visit and see our home along with the new kitchen we had told them about.
They are a couple that was on our Alaskan trip in 2008. We get to see them once
a year at the Alaskan rally and had invited them to come and see our home. We
had a wonderful visit with them. After they left it was time for us to meet Pam
and Mike for supper at Panera Bread before heading to Ron and Sandy’s for our
Life Group gathering. It was a good night coming away with a little better
understanding about God’s plan for us. We also got to visit with some of the
new people that were there.

Cheri and I both were back
to cleaning today. It was time to get the ladders and along with miscellaneous cabinet
material out of the sunroom. It had been my work area for the kitchen cabinets
and it was time to get it back to its intended use. Mid-morning I took Cheri
for her hair appointment and then we made a stop at the post office to mail our
income taxes. On the way home we took the car through the car wash. After lunch
we continued cleaning. I made a trip to the good well store to drop off a few
things we didn’t need any longer. On the way home I stopped by Lowe’s to pick
up new drinking water filters for the house. After I got home I installed the
water filters and told Cheri I was done for the day and she felt the same way. This
evening Mike and Kathy came over to play Phase Ten. It was a great evening for
me as I won both games. It was another cold day in not so sunny Florida with a stiff breeze.

We were on the road at
8:45 am heading to Brooksville for Cheri’s eye appointment. We actually got in
early to see the doctor. Cheri got a very good report that her eye site is much
better and the swelling has gone down. She still has the double vision but is a
little better. So this was great news and she goes back in a month. On the way
home we stopped at the Florida Cracker Kitchen for an early lunch. We were so
happy with what we had the last time we were there that we both had the same
thing again and weren’t disappointed. When we got home Cheri went back to work
on the income taxes and I called Bright House to see if there was anything they
could do about lowering our internet bill. After a couple of hours and talking
to a couple of different people and waiting on hold all they could do was lower
our bill by five dollars a month. Before I hung up I told them how I felt about
new customers got the perks but the longtime customers get nothing. Well then I
said what if I was to request a higher internet speed from 15 to 25. I was put
on hold again and then when he came back he said that he could do that and our
bill would be ten dollars less each month. They even had to send a repairman
out to change the modem to work with the higher speed. If you can figure this
out let me know what just happened. I also got a call on our sound bar that
needs to be repaired. I was told that I now have to open a repair ticket on
line with another company and they will take care of it. After opening the
repair ticket I got an e-mail that I will be contacted in five to seven days on
where to take it and it will be replaced with a new one. So stay tuned as I think
there is going to be more problems before we have a working sound bar. After
all of this I have splitting headache, I am old and don’t like the stress, had
enough of that when I was working. Cheri did get the taxes done and we will
send them out tomorrow.

It was 34 degrees this

Cheri worked on income taxes this forenoon and I worked outside in my shop
trying to get things cleaned up and back in order. It is going to take a few
days before I get that all done. When I came in at noon I told Cheri I was done
for the day. She felt the same way about the taxes so this afternoon we went to
see the movie Nicholas Sparks The Choice. It was a very good movie. After the
movie we went over to Grandma’s to pick up some paper work that we needed to
fill out and send in for her. Then we went to see how Mel and Jan were doing.
Mel wasn’t doing as good today and said that he was light headed and not stable
on his feet. On the way home we stopped fill the car with gas and then to Wal-Mart
to pick up a few things we needed. After all was said and done it was 6:00 pm
when we finally got home. Cheri and I were both tired and didn’t watch much TV

It was 41 degrees this
morning and our high temp for the day was 59 degrees. We are supposed to have a
week of this weather before it warms up, not to my liking. Grandma went to
church with us this morning. She said that she almost called us to tell us she
wasn’t going because it was too cold. Pastor Randy delivered and excellent
message on Love. Sunday school was also very good as Charlie always does a
great job of teaching. We came straight home after church as we didn’t want to
be out in the cold. I moved my computer and other things back into my office,
good to have things back where they belong. Cheri got some new magazines in the
mail and that kept her busy this afternoon. After I got the office arranged I
headed to the recliner and tried to read a bit but ended up taking a nap. When I
woke up I looked over at Cheri and she was also napping. We watched a couple of
movies and then it was time to watch the Super Bowl. I was happy to see the
Broncos win so Peyton Manning can retire at the top of his game.

Cheri continued organizing
her sewing room and I finished cleaning up the grout and got the electrical and
telephone done. Now it’s time to start on the trim work. It started to rain
around noon and was still raining off and on into the evening. Just enough to
make it a miserable day and our high for the day was 57 degrees and breezy. This
afternoon we went to see the movie 13 Hours. It is based on a true story what
happened in Benghazi and showed what happened hour by hour. We came away very disappointed
that our Government didn’t do anything to save lives. It was a good history
lesson that we should not forget what happened. We also need to pray for our men
and women that are protecting our country. Plus pray for our politicians that
they can come together and run our county on the bases that it was founded. This
evening we studied our Sunday school lesson and watched a couple of good movies
we recorded.

Cheri was busy cleaning
and organizing today. I found it best to stay out of her way. I was pretty busy
anyway finishing the grouting. I still have some clean up to do on it and the
rest of the electrical to finish. Then it will be time to start on the trim
work around the back splash along with doing the crown molding and light rail on
the cabinets. I had a bad headache today and not feeling the best so I was done
work pretty early in the afternoon. Larry and Denise came over to play cards
this evening. Larry and I won the first game of Hand, Knee, and Foot by a large
margin not fun for Denise and Cheri. The second game was a real nail biter
which Larry and I won by only 435 points, a normal win would be somewhere
around 3 or 4 thousand points. We also played one game of pinochle which Larry
and I won by only 4 points, another nail bitter.

This morning I told Cheri
I was going to get the grouting done so I could cross it off my list of things
that needed to be done. Well things didn’t go has I had planned because I ran
out of grout around 1:00 pm. No problem I just went to Lowe’s to get some more
and found they were out of the color that we use so I headed to Home Depot and
they no longer carry the brand we are using. So I headed back home and asked
Cheri if she wanted to ride along to Lakeland to get the grout. It is nice to
have her along with me when we go places even though we don’t always have
anything to talk about. Just being together means a lot. We got the grout and
also made a quick stop at the grocery store for a few things. Well by the time
we got home it was too late to do anymore grouting as we were meeting Mike and
Pam for supper before going to our Life Group Gathering. Cheri spent her day
cleaning and reorganizing her sewing room plus she made the dessert for Life
Group. We had a good time at Life Group and it was the first night of a new
Life Group study. The study guide is: When the Game is over it all Goes Back in
the Box. By John Ortberg. It was good to be back studying God’s word with our
Life Group. The dessert that Cheri made was a big hit as some of the guys took
an extra piece home with them and some of the ladies wanted her recipe.

The other day I made an appointment
for labs as I have an appointment for an abdominal scan in a couple of weeks
and had to have labs for it. Plus I made an appointment for my yearly physical for
next week. So everything is good. Well today was the lab appointment and I
noticed that I had a voice mail on my phone that said the doctor for my
physical didn’t need labs so he had the appointment canceled. So I headed over
to the VA clinic to get things straighten out. After talking with the nurse and
getting her to understand what was going on she did my labs. Cheri waited until
I got home and then fixed us a big breakfast and was 10:30 am by the time we
sat down to eat. Larry and Denise e-mailed us and wanted to know if we wanted
to go to Sam’s Club with them at noon. I really didn’t feel like working today
so we decided to go. We had a good time shopping with Larry and Denise. Normally
we would have played cards when we got back but I was just too tired to play.
So after we got home we proceeded to our recliners and both of us took a nap.
Later this evening I got a call from the doctor telling me that my blood
platelets were down to 33 and need to get an appointment with the hematology
doctor, good thing I got the labs done today. The normal count is 150 to 350.

Let’s see it is Ground Hog
Day. Do we have six more weeks of winter or do we have an early spring. Well
the only one that really knows is God so put you faith in him. There was no
work for me today as I planned a motorcycle ride. We were going to leave at
9:30 am but it was so foggy that we waited an extra half hour so the fog could
clear. There were only three of us for the ride. We headed north with a stop at
the truckers chrome shop. There is always something that will work on a
motorcycle. Mike did buy a strobe light that will flash when he applies the
brake. I also bought one to have it work with an existing light I have. We eat
lunch at Wendy’s, we all had the new special of four for four which was a pretty
good value. Then we worked our way around to the Harley dealer in Leesburg. Our
ride was 162 miles and was home around 4:00 pm. Cheri did her usual Tuesday
house work and then finished the quilt project she has been working on. Cheri
fixed me biscuit and sausage gravy for supper all made from scratch and the
best I have ever had. I couldn’t stay awake to watch very much TV this evening
as I was very tired from the bike ride.

I can’t believe it is
February already not sure where January went to. At 7:30 am I went over to the
VA clinic here in Zephyrhills to get an appointment for labs and a physical.
Yep it is that time of the year again. I worked on the back splash and now have
it all installed. I am one happy guy as it has been a long drawn out process. I
still have to do the grouting which I hope to get done in the next couple of
days. Cheri worked on the quilt binding and can see the end of her project.
Larry stopped over for a visit and to drop off some bike polish for me to give
to Mike tomorrow when we go for our motorcycle ride. I called the warranty department
for the third time and finally got things in order so I can get our sound bar
repaired. They told me that we would be contacted in the next couple of days on
where to take it for repair something that has taken too long to get resolved.
What a beautiful day we had with the temp in the high 70’s which is about 15 or
20 degrees above normal. Cheri fixed a French bread loaf for supper, it is
something like pizza toppings on French bread. It is one of my favorite meals. It
was another evening of TV movies we had recorded.

Grandma didn’t want to go
to church this morning as there wouldn’t be any message notes because Pastor
Randy wouldn’t be delivering the message. Pastor Mike delivered the message
today. It was the first time we have heard him and he delivered an excellent
message. Charlie was on his A-game today as he had a lot of information for us.
On the way home we stopped by Mel and Jan’s to check on them. They had planned
on going to church today but Mel got up with a lot of pain and was light headed
from the pain medicine. We also stopped by Lowe’s so I could get some more
metal cutting blades for my Dermal tool which I need to cut back splash tiles.
This afternoon I helped Cheri square up the quilt she is working on. All she
has left to do is put the binding on it. She has had quite the time with this
project and will be glad when it is done. We left the house a little before 5:00
pm and headed back to church to hear the Rob Mills family present their gospel
music program. We had a great time and if you ever get the chance you should go
and see them. Their program consisted of great old time gospel music, some comedy,
and a good message. For more information check out their web site at http://robmillsfamily.com/. We came home
with a renewed spirt.
