Cheri and I were on the road at 7:30 am heading to Tampa VA for my doctor’s appointment. I got a good report and don’t have to go back for another year. We were done and on our way home a little past 10:00 am. Grandma had given us a grocery and medicine list yesterday so we thought that we would take care of that while we were out. Cheri had called in for her medicine and was told it would be ready late yesterday afternoon. So when we got to Wal-Mart I headed to the pharmacy to pick up her medicine while Cheri started picking up groceries. Well I was told that the medicine wasn’t ready which means we will have to make another trip to Wal-Mart. We did get the groceries and dropped them off. It was just past noon when we arrived home. Cheri fixed us a spinach salad along with some fruit salad that was left over from Sunday school class for lunch. After lunch Cheri went to the sewing room and I started working on the kitchen cabinet trim. I reworked the top of one cabinet so I could attach the crown molding and also got the light rail installed on one section of the cabinets. I was done by 4:00 pm and headed to the recliner where Cheri was and we both took a nap. Cheri didn’t get much done in the sewing room as she said that she wasn’t in the right frame of mind to do anything. It was another beautiful day with a high temp in the mid 70’s.
