Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone. Forty nine years ago today Cheri and I were engaged, the beginning of a wonderful life together. Grandma e-mailed us yesterday to let us know she wasn’t going to church today. She is having a lot of pain in her back and knee. Four people from our church went to Cuba for a week to spread Gods word and today they gave a very interesting report on their experience. Pastor Randy continued his message on love. Mel and Jan made it to church and Sunday school today. It has been many weeks since they were last there. After Sunday school they were going out for lunch at Ruby Tuesday’s to celebrate Valentine’s Day and asked us to join them. We had a good visit with a lot of laughs. Mel was very tired and had a hard time getting to the car. After lunch we stopped by Grandma to how she was doing and to drop off a card and candy from Jan Rogers who is a very good friend with Grandma. It was 3:00 pm when we finally got home. The rest of the day was spent reading, napping and watching TV.
