Cheri was busy doing laundry, ironing, and packing for our trip to see Darren, Brooke, and baby Wyatt. I worked all morning and part of the afternoon in the bathroom. I got all the towel bars installed. Painted the new shelf as it was a cream color and Cheri said that it had to be white. Installed the door stop and safety bar in the shower. After the shelf was dry I put that up along with the picture Cheri wanted in the bathroom. After I got done I took all my tools out to the shop and Cheri cleaned up in the bathroom. This afternoon we waited patiently for the new vessel sink to come. It finally showed up at 5:00 pm. Cheri said that it is better than the last one we order and said that she could live with this one. I am not all that crazy about it. We took water fall plate and went to Lowe’s to see about ordering a vanity top. It was going to be $400 and decide we could use an already make one for $78.00. But the one we wanted was out of stock and won’t be in for a week. So that works for us as we will be gone for a week. We did go to Home Depot to see if they had something that might work but the one at Lowe’s was going to be the best bet. It was 7:00 pm when we got home and was 8:00 pm by the time we were ready to settle in for the evening. We also got just under an inch of rain this afternoon.

I worked over at the neighbors this morning weeding the flower beds and trimming seed pods from the palm trees. When I came in I was soak and wet from sweating and had to clean up some and change shirts. Cheri was busy doing her Tuesday house work and then spent time in her sewing room. I reinstalled the bathroom door and added a new lock set. Installed some towel bars plus some caulking I missed doing yesterday. I also got the medicine cabinet reinstalled. This afternoon I took the car in to have a tire repaired as it had a slow leak and found a nail in it. The guy that work on the tire had trouble getting dismounted and had to have help. Then he put the tire back on without balancing it. I had to let them know that it wasn’t balanced. So he took it off and did the balancing. Then I headed home to pick up Cheri and go to Lowe’s to get new towel bars, toilet paper holder, a shelf, and to checkout counter tops. We also stopped at Winn Dixies to get some milk for Grandma. By the time we got home it was supper time and another evening with the TV.

We had a good day and got a lot done. We worked all day in the bathroom. I got the water turned off so I could put in the last piece of flooring. Got the vanity set in place and all the new water shutoff installed and the waste water pipe relocated. Cheri was always right there helping and cleaning up behind me. I got the base board done and Cheri filled the nail holes and did some touch up painting. Got ready to reinstall the toilet and when I opened the box with the wax ring it turned out to be one that someone tried to use and had returned it. It wasn’t useable so I had to make a trip to Lowe’s to return it and get a new one. So now the toilet it reinstalled. I took down the heating and cooling vent and gave it a new coat of paint. As far as the bathroom goes we are now at a stand still waiting for the vessel sink. We need the vessel sink before we get the counter top and back splash tile. We also got the rest of the floor molding installed so all the floors are officially done. It was 4:00 pm when we got done and I was ready for a nice hot shower. We had leftovers for supper and then settled in for an evening on TV.

Grandma didn’t go to church with us today. Pastor Randy had an excellent message about all the baggage we carry in our lives and what we should do to get rid of it. Our Sunday school class was tired to Pastor Larry’s message. We watched a video and then the ladies and we guys split off in to groups to discuss on how to get rid of the baggage we all have in our lives. We had a good discussion in fact Sunday school ran over by several minutes. Cheri was also busy showing everyone pictures of baby Wyatt. We had snacks at Sunday school is we skipped lunch and decided to have an earlier supper. We spent the afternoon watching a movie and a couple other shows before it was time for me to watch the NASCAR race. The race had a very exciting finish with Tony Stewart winning. It started raining around 1:00 pm and rained off and on into the evening and received ¾ inch. Darren and Brooke have been good about sending more pictures of baby Wyatt. I think Cheri has about wore out her phone looking at them.

This morning we left the house at 8:30 am to take Jan to the airport. She is going to be spending about three weeks with her daughter and granddaughter in Pennsylvania. From the airport we headed to Lumber liquidators in Plant City to pick up the floor trim that came in yesterday. It was 11:30 am before we got home. We had a sandwich for lunch. Cheri had some house work that she needed to get done. I went up to Jan’s place to move the car, repair the storm door lock, move the patio furniture back on the patio, turn off the water, and turn off the hot water heater. It was 1:30 pm when I got back home and not feeling like doing any more work today. But decided I needed to work in the bathroom. I had to move the sink waste water for the new vanity which met I had to go under the house to reroute the pipe. I also got the holes cut in the new vanity for the plumbing. It was too late in the day to turn off the water and put in the new shutoff valves. So it was time for a shower and to get cleaned up. Cheri was busy in the kitchen fixing a new recipe of smothered chicken for supper. Cheri didn’t think it was all that good but I thought it was very good. We also talked to Darren and Brooke today and baby Wyatt is doing really good. Darren said that he has already cleaned diapers. Brooke and the baby will be in the hospital for three or four days. We plan to leave on the 30th to go and spend the 4th of July with them and baby Wyatt. Cheri is very excited about going, she can’t wait to hold the baby.

49 years ago today Cheri and I were married. It was short courtship as we only knew each other for six months. Cheri did her Friday house work and I worked this morning for a while on the bathroom light. I had quit at 10:00 am to take Cheri over to Beall’s so she could shop while I took Grandma to the doctor for her B-12 shot. After I got Grandma back home I stopped by the bank for her and then went and picked up Cheri. It was after noon when we finally got back home. I worked in the bathroom laying couple pieces of flooring and then went to Lowe’s to get some plumbing supplies as I will have to shut off the water to install the last piece of flooring and then install a new water shut off for the toilet. We picked up Pam and Mike at 5:00 pm and headed to Dade City where met Ron & Sandy and Randy & Faye to have a Friday night fish fry at the Black Eye Pea. After we eat we all headed back to Pam and Mike’s. On the way we got a text from Darren and Brooke telling us we are now the proud grandparents of a baby boy. He was born at 2:48 pm. He weighs 7 pounds and 5 ounces. He is 20 and a half inches long. His name is Wyatt Avery Sharp. When we got to Pam and Mikes Pam had cake and ice cream along with drinks to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the arrival of baby Wyatt. Thank you Pam and Mike for such a nice party.

Cheri was busy doing her Thursday laundry and house cleaning. Of course I am no help with all my in and out of the house working in the bathroom. Cheri is so good about cleaning up after me. I wasn’t looking forward to the task of trying to get a RGA and what all I was going to have to go through to send back the vessel sink. I checked their internet site and found a number to call. I got right through without any waiting. A guy named John helped me and within a couple of minutes he e-mailed me a RGA number with a return order to paste on the box and then all I had to do was drop it off at the UPS store. It couldn’t have been any easier. Cheri was on line looking at vessel sinks again and found another one that she liked so I got that ordered for her. Then it was time to work on laying the bathroom flooring. I work until 1:30 pm and then put everything away. I am at the point where I need to do some cutting around the pipes and wasn’t in the mood to do that today. After I got cleaned up we took the vessel sink and dropped it off at the UPS store. Then a quick stop at Lowe’s for an electrical part for the outside electrical outlet I am installing. Then it was on to Home Depot parking lot to meet Mike, Pam, Ron, and Sandy. Ron was driving and the six of us were headed to Brandon to have an early evening supper at the Bahama Breeze. After we eat the ladies wanted to go to Old Time Pottery. So we guys went to Home Depot and the Harley dealer. When we got back to Zephyrhills Cheri and I went to Wal-Mart to pick up medicine and groceries for Grandma. By the time all was said and done it was a little past 9:00 pm when we got home. We received and e-mail late this afternoon that our new vessel sink has been shipped.

Happy 95th birthday Grandma (Mother) and many more. Cheri had an appointment at 10:00 am to get the new lens put in her glasses. So far it didn’t seem to help as she still sees double. We pray that it is just getting use to the new lens and will correct her vision. After the appointment we took the car through the car wash while Cheri was on the phone talking to Jan. Jan said that it sounds like you are in the shower. We laughed and said will the car is taking a shower. We picked up Grandma at 11:30 am and took her to Village Inn for a birthday lunch. It was also free pie day so when the pie came we put a candle in the pie so Grandma could make a birthday wish. Everyone around us wished her a happy birthday. When we go home Cheri went right to work on painting the last coat of paint in the bathroom. I took the bathroom door outside and spray painted it several coats. I also sprayed the rest of the door hinges I was working on yesterday. We both got done about the same time so after cleanup we headed to Lumber liquidator’s to get the flooring for the bathroom. When we got home the vessel sink we ordered was here. We were excited to see what it was going to look like. We were some disappointed when we opened it. It didn’t turn out not to be the wow factor that Cheri wanted. So tomorrow I am going to see about sending it back and ordering something different.

Today was bathroom day. I did the final coat of plaster and Cheri started painting. She got the base coat painted and then got two coats of white on the trim work and one coat of green on the walls. She put in a long day painting and has one coat of green left to do and the painting will be done. I spray painted the medicine cabinet door and painted the bathroom door hinges. I made a trip to Lowe’s to get electrical materials to install an outside electrical outlet where I do all my work. I am tired of getting out cords for the work I do out there. I did get a good started on that project. After we got cleaned up we met Mike and Pam for supper at Jersey Mike’s for a sub. Pam had sent us an e-mail that had a link for a free soda and chips. After we eat we went over to Mike and Pam’s to play a couple games of Aggravation. It is the first time we have been together in about five weeks. So we had a lot of visiting to catch up on. On the way home we made another stop at Lowe’s so Cheri could pick out the new light fixture for the bathroom. She got it down to two and bought both to see which one will look the best. It was around 8:30 pm when we got home. We watched a little TV and called it a night. Thank you God for a great day.

Cheri is feeling much better today only coughing a little bit. She still took it a little easier today except for helping me clean up in the bathroom has I was tearing things out. Later today she was in her sewing room. I have the vanity and toilet removed from the bathroom along with the door. I took down all the towel racks so it will be easier for Cheri to paint. I got the caulking done and a coat of plaster on. Tomorrow I will do the finish coat of plaster and it will be ready for Cheri to paint. Late this afternoon after I got showered and cleaned up I made a trip over to Lowe’s to get some electrical things I need for the bathroom along with looking for some new door hinges and lock set. I couldn’t find any new hinges like the ones we have so I bought a can of spray paint to paint the old ones. We went to bed early this evening as I was really tired from the work today and Cheri needs the extra rest to get her back to good health.

Happy Father’s Day. I hope you took time to honor your father today. If he is no longer with you, take some time to remember the good times you had with him. I am sure it will bring a smile to your face. Cheri was feeling good enough to go to church this morning. It was her best day in over two weeks. Grandma also went with us. On the way home from church we stopped and got some groceries and gas for the car. The rest of the day was spent in our recliners. I watched the NASCAR race and Cheri watched some of it with me and spent time on her phone and I-pad. I got a Happy Father’s Day text from Darren and phone calls from Kari and Nikki. So it was a nice lazy day.

Today I finished assembling the pantry door racks that I cut out yesterday. I had made it in two pieces as I was using some left over lumber I had. When I got the first one done I brought it in for Cheri to paint. When I brought in the second one she had the first one all painted. She got the second one painted while I cleaned up out in the shop. She also had some honey do things she wanted me to do. She had a stained glass piece that she wanted to hang in the kitchen window. It took me a while to figure out how to do it and get it done. Then she had me move some plates that she had hanging in the hallway to our bedroom. Then hang some pictures of the kids in the hallway. Then it was time to hang the pantry door rack. When in a few minutes she had the rack filled and was cleaning the pantry closet. I have been wanting to cook some cabbage and used a combination of two recipes along with some of my own ideas. Cheri helped me put it together and put it the crook pot to cook. It contained Italian sausage, bacon, kielbasa, onions, garlic, beef broth, cabbage, and additional seasoning. We had it for supper along with some fresh baked biscuits that Cheri baked. It was very good and I would make it again. I think Cheri is a little better today as I don’t think she was coughing as much. According to the weather report we were supposed to get a lot of rain today but only got a little shower this evening.

Cheri is still doing a lot of coughing, doesn’t seem to be getting any better. I thought the antibiotics would have taken care of the problem by now. She did do her normal Friday house work plus she made a batch of chocolate chip cookies. I worked outside this morning and got most of the cleanup in the shop done. I cleaned the bird feeders and got them refilled. I trimmed the seed pod from the neighbors palm tree. During the summer it is a weekly job. I started a new project today. I am making a rack to hang on the inside of the pantry door. I got it cut out and ready to assemble tomorrow. This afternoon Mike came and picked me up and took me to Home Depot to haul home the new vanity for the bathroom. It was really nice of Mike and Pam to do that for us. Thanks Mike and Pam for the help. The rest of our afternoon was spent in the recliners. We did get a rain shower that last all of five minutes, typical summer weather for Florida.

Cheri was busy doing laundry and her Thursday house work this morning. I went out and worked on cleaning up my shop. By 1:00 pm I had done all that I felt like doing as it was getting too hot for me to be outside working. I had Cheri looking on line at vessel sinks and she found one that she liked so we got that ordered, one step closer to start remodeling the main bathroom. After I got showered and a sandwich for lunch we headed out to Home Depot to check out their bathroom vanities. We found one that we both liked and decided to get it. I went to get a dolly to haul it out and thought I better measure to see if it would fit in the car. It was a good thing that I checked because it wouldn’t fit. I will have to check with friends to see if one of them will haul it home for us. We had three different rain showers come through today and received just over a ¼ inch.

Cheri and I went out to the Sunrise restaurant for breakfast this morning. Then it was back home to load up the left over flooring and return it to Lumber Liquidators. While we were there we picked up a sample of flooring for the bathroom. Then we went into Plant City to Lowe’s to look at bathroom vanities. Then we headed to Lakeland to check out vessel sinks and back splash tiles for the bathroom. Then it was back home to rest a bit before Cheri’s eye appointment. Her appointment was at 3:30 pm and didn’t get to see the doctor until 4:45 pm. Then we headed to Golden Coral as I had a free buffet coupon to use. We were somewhat disappointed, don’t think the food is as good as it used to be. Then we headed over to Great Clips so I could get a much needed haircut. It was after 7:30 pm when we finally got home. I got calls from the kids today wishing me a happy birthday, it was nice to talk to them and see what they have been up to. We had no rain today, first time in over a week. From what we did today you can see what our next project is.

Today is Flag Day so I hope everyone displayed the Stars and Stripes. Cheri had a coughing spell last evening and finally decided to go to the doctor today. She also talked me into going to Beall’s to buy some new sneakers which were on sale. I also bought a new pair of dress pants for church. I am not much for shopping for clothes so Cheri usually buys my clothes and brings them home for me. After Cheri’s doctor appointment we went to Brandon as Cheri wanted pick up a picture that she saw at Old Time Pottery. While we were in Brandon we had lunch at Outback Steak House. We had soup and salad witch was pretty good. We were back in Zephyrhills by 3:00 pm for Cheri’s hair appointment. I went to Wal-Mart to pick up her medicine and then back to pick her up. It was near 4:00 pm when we arrived home. We were both tired from our day being out and about. We had a big lunch so it was just a sandwich for supper. Yep we got our early evening rain shower but once again it was just a trace of rain.

Hey it was a good day in the Sharps house today. Cheri said that she was feeling better today not coughing has much so we think she is on the mend. I worked all day on the spare bedroom flooring. I finished installing the flooring around 3:00 pm. I made a trip to Lowe’s to get the additional base board I needed. Long story short the bedroom is done and all the furniture is back in place. Well I do have to get the floor door trim for both of the bedrooms which means a trip to Lumber Liquidators. It was around 5:30 pm when I was ready for that nice hot shower. When I got done Cheri had supper waiting for us. A nice juicy hamburger, corn on the cob, and cauliflower salad. I took a couple of Aleve to relive the pains so I could sleep tonight. It was almost 7:00 pm before we settled in for an evening of TV. Yes we did get a trace of rain this afternoon, just a nice damping.

Cheri said that she was feeling a little better today but didn’t go to church, she didn’t want to have a coughing spell in church. So today it was just Grandma and me. We had our Linger Longer after Sunday school. We had spaghetti, salad, and all kinds of dessert. One of the ladies put together a plate of food for me to take home for Cheri. I got to meet a new person that is coming to Sunday school. He and his wife moved here last August and had retired from teaching school in Memphis Tennessee. He said that he that he got bored here and went back to teaching here. This afternoon I settled in to watch the NASCAR race. Cheri fixed pizza for supper which is what we have most every Sunday evening. We watched a few different shows that Cheri recorded this forenoon. Yes we did get rain again today but only a ¼ inch.

It was another foggy morning which means it will be another very humid day. We did get a couple of short rain showers today. Cheri took it easy again today has she is still fighting the coughing. I figured it would be a good day if I could get the carpeting out and the new underlayment down. Well I did get that done plus a good start on laying the new flooring. I was tired and finally quit for the day around 4:00 pm. After I showered and got cleaned up I asked Cheri if she want to go back to Popeye’s for some more chicken as I knew she didn’t feel like cooking any supper. So on the way to Popeye’s we stopped a Walgreen to get Cheri some more medicine for her cough. At Popeye’s we had a coupon for a free two piece of chicken with the purchase of a large drink and we also got the Magnolia Chicken again. So our supper was only seven dollars and some change. This afternoon Pam stopped over to give Cheri a wreath that she made out of flip flops, it really looks nice, thanks Pam.

We got up to a really foggy humid morning and was very humid and hot today. Cheri over did herself yesterday because she was doing more coughing today. She did all bed laundry this morning. Then I told her she was done for the day. I worked on getting the door molding down in the bedroom and also got the bed support back in place. I still need one more piece of floor molding for in front of the closet door in then the master bedroom will be done. We will have to make a trip to Lumber Liquidators but am going to wait until I get the spare bedroom done because I am going to need moldings for it. So by 11:00 am Cheri and I were done for the day. Pastor Randy has been raving about Popeye’s Magnolia Chicken so we went at noon to try it. It was the first time we have been to a Popeye’s and I must say it was very good. It is some of the best food we have gotten at a fast food place. We have already planned on going back again. We enjoyed a restful afternoon watching some movies we had recorded. But later in the afternoon I got antsy so Cheri and I cleaned out the spare bedroom so I can start on the floor tomorrow. I was going to wait until next week but I just want all the flooring done. When it came to supper time we both were not very hungry so I had some leftover soup and Cheri had a bowl of cereal.

Cheri is feeling a little better today but still has the cough and did more work than she should have today. She did a couple loads of laundry, clean and mopped all the floors, and cleaned the walls and floor in our bedroom. I worked on installing the baseboard and helped Cheri move all the furniture back in place. Around 3:00 pm I had run out of energy and couldn’t do anymore. Once again after a nice hot shower I headed for the recliner. I pulled a muscle in my neck and shoulder a couple of days ago and today it is giving me a lot of pain so this afternoon and evening I have been putting hot towels on it. All that is left to do in the bedroom is putting down the door trim and the adjusting the center supports on the bed. We have had some rain the last couple of days and by the rain gauge we received 1 ¼ inch.

Cheri is still not feeling good and laid low again today. This morning I went to pick up some medicine for her. Then I made a stop at the bank, Larry and Denise’s house, and Winn Dixie. I got a call from Grandma so I headed over to her place to see what she wanted. She said her computer quit working. I checked and had to reset the power strip which must have tripped during the storm last night. I also emptied her vacuum cleaner and cleaned her air conditioner filter. So with all of that I didn’t get started on the flooring until 11:00 am. Things went well with the flooring. By 3:30 pm I was running out of energy but wanted to get it done so I push through and finished laying the flooring at 6:40 pm. By the time I got cleaned up with a good hot shower plus a couple Aleve pills it was near 7:30 pm. Later today Cheri was up and I think she is feeling a little better and doesn’t seem to be coughing as much.

Well I thought that the rain was going to be over by 7:00 am but not so as it continued to rain until noon and we received another inch. Cheri put in a really bad night and not feeling any better this morning. After breakfast she rested in her recliner and I told her she should go to the spare bedroom where she could lie down and maybe sleep. She is still fighting the dry cough. I worked on getting some of the floor underlayment down. It is hard working around the bed, dressers, and night stands. I was able to get enough down so I could start laying the new flooring. I worked until 3:00 pm and have the bedroom about one third done. It was time for me to get cleaned up as I needed to be in Dade City at 5:45 pm. It is church men’s night out and are taking the church bus and going to a restaurant called Willie’s Fish Camp. They have a Tuesday night fish special of shrimp, cat fish, mahl mahl, clam strips, white fish, and tilapia all you can eat for $15.99. I had the cat fish and shrimp and it was excellent. There were 32 of us so it did take a while to get everyone served. It was near 10:00 pm when I got home and Cheri was just getting ready for bed. It was a good day for me but not for Cheri.

Well today we have felt the effects of the tropical storm Colin. It started raining around 10:00 am and has continued to rain all day and night. Cheri isn’t feeling very good today as she has a bad dry cough which she as had for the last few days and today was the worse. So she is laying low today. I spent the day removing the carpet from our bedroom which took most of the day and when I finished I was really tired and ready for a hot shower. Cheri had fixed us a big breakfast so I worked through lunch and was hungry by the time supper rolled around. Around 3:30 pm I settled in and watched the NASCAR race that I had recorded. This evening we settled in and watched a couple of movies we had recorded. As I write this the morning of June 7 it is still raining but looking at the radar it is just about over. The rain gauge shows we got 3 inches.

Our Sundays are pretty much always the same and today was no different. We picked up Grandma and took her to church with us. We started a new eight week series today from Rick Warren. We are not a fan of Rick warren but after Pastor Randy’s message and then the video in Sunday school I feel that Cheri and I did get something out of it. Sometimes God leads us down a path that we are not sure about. If we could just learn to trust God we would all be better off. So after today I am looking forward to next week. Sunday school was late getting out and along with visiting it was after 1:00 pm when we got home. I settled in to watch the NASCAR race but it was rained out and will have to wait until tomorrow to watch it. So Cheri and I settle in for an afternoon of movies we had recorded. Plus keeping an eye on the weather as we have big storm coming in off the gulf tomorrow and are supposed to get some wind and a lot of rain. We also called Darren and Brooke this evening. Tomorrow is their first anniversary and they are patiently waiting for the new baby. Darren said that Brooke is counting the days. Their due date is the 21st

Cheri and I were both up extra early this morning we both had trouble sleeping. I can see a nap coming this afternoon. We left the house at 8:40 am to pick up Jan and Sherry and take Sherry to the airport. Sherry had spent the last week with Jan and now has to go back to Pittsburg. It was near 11:00 am when we got back to Jan’s place. From Jan’s we headed to Grandma’s to see if she needed any groceries. She had a list made out so we headed to Wal-Mart to get her groceries and a few that we needed. By the time we got everything done and home it was 1:00 pm. After lunch I went out and got the barn quilt block hung up in the peak of the house. The temp was up to 94 degrees and humid today. Just for the little time I was out hanging the barn quilt block I came in all sweaty. Cheri and I decided to take the rest of the day off. We tried to watch a movie this afternoon but I think we both napped more than we watch the movie.

The Barn Quilt Block is up

Cheri was busy all day. This forenoon she got her Friday laundry and house work done. Then headed to the sewing room to finish the barn quilt block which is now ready for me to put up. After lunch she made an apple crisp dessert and we had some as soon as it came out of the oven. I work most all day on the growth chart board. I had to take several breaks while doing the rule markings as it was hard for me to keep bending over the board to do the marking. Anyway it is done and looks pretty good but not some of my best work as I had trouble with the rule markings running. Cheri and I were done early this afternoon and settled in to watch a movie before supper. Now that our shows are over for the season it harder to find anything to watch on TV.

Cheri and I were both were almost at a standstill with the projects we are working on as we need the Yellow Frog tape. So this morning I decided to take a motorcycle ride and look for the Yellow Frog tape. I rode 75 miles and visited three Wal-Mart’s. They did have the two inch Frog tape but not the one inch that we always use. I have come to the concision that Wal-Mart no longer carries it. So I bought a roll of the two inch. I also stopped at Broke and Poor. It is a store that has all sorts of things for mobile homes. I want an 18 inch pre hung door for one of the project I plan on doing and haven’t been able to find anything that is less than twenty four inches. But they did have and eighteen inch which would work. It was around 1:00 pm when I got home. Cheri had finished her house cleaning, laundry, and was working on the barn quilt block. After lunch I finished the painting on the growth chart board and started to do the lay out for ruler markings. I realize I need to do a test board and will work on that tomorrow. The last three days we have had a rain shower come through, each time only about five or ten minutes long. The weather is still hot and humid with a temp at 90 degrees.

Wow I just realized today is the first day of June. May sure did go by fast. Sandy picked up Cheri at 9:30 am and the two of them went shopping down in Brandon. Cheri was pretty excited as she hasn’t gotten to go with a friend for a day of shopping for a long time. I continued working on the growth chart board. Lot of masking and painting. I did take a break and went over to the VA clinic to see about the whopping cough shot I need for when we see baby Wyatt. Well the good news is I had the shot back in 2014 so I am good to go. When we came back from Lowe’s yesterday I see the gas price was at $2.21 per gallon and today on the way to the VA clinic it was at $2.24 and 15 minutes later when I came back it was at $2.29, hope it stops going up for a while. When I got home I continued on the chart board. I got the letters and numbers painted and have gone as far as I can because I need the Frog tape that I couldn’t find yesterday. I took the fan light from the kitchen fan and installed it in Cheri’s sewing room so now she has a lot more light to see with. I took the sewing room light and did some modification on it and put it in the kitchen fan. I was able to use the three good light bulbs that we had in the kitchen fan before one had burned out. This afternoon I left at 4:00 pm to go and pick up Ron and we headed to Brandon to meet Cheri and Sandy at the Bahama Breeze for dinner at 5:00 pm. On the way home we stopped at Best Buy to buy a bump case for Cheri’s phone. Then a stop at Wesley Chapel Wal-Mart to get the Frog tape, no luck they were out of it.

Cheri and I were both busy today. Cheri continued working on the barn quilt block and I worked on the growth chart board for baby Wyatt. Near noon we went over to Lowe’s to get the paint I needed for the growth chart board and Cheri was just about out of yellow Frog tape. While we were there Cheri got the paint for the bathroom. They didn’t have any of the yellow Frog tape so we went to Wal-Mart where we usually get and they were out of it, so no Frog tape for Cheri. On the way home we got a call from Jan wanting to know if she could bring Sherry over to see Cheri’s quilts and the house. So they came around 2:00 pm. We had a good visit and Sherry liked all the quilting Cheri has done. They left around 4:00 pm and we decided to call it a day.
