Today I finished assembling the pantry door racks that I cut out yesterday. I had made it in two pieces as I was using some left over lumber I had. When I got the first one done I brought it in for Cheri to paint. When I brought in the second one she had the first one all painted. She got the second one painted while I cleaned up out in the shop. She also had some honey do things she wanted me to do. She had a stained glass piece that she wanted to hang in the kitchen window. It took me a while to figure out how to do it and get it done. Then she had me move some plates that she had hanging in the hallway to our bedroom. Then hang some pictures of the kids in the hallway. Then it was time to hang the pantry door rack. When in a few minutes she had the rack filled and was cleaning the pantry closet. I have been wanting to cook some cabbage and used a combination of two recipes along with some of my own ideas. Cheri helped me put it together and put it the crook pot to cook. It contained Italian sausage, bacon, kielbasa, onions, garlic, beef broth, cabbage, and additional seasoning. We had it for supper along with some fresh baked biscuits that Cheri baked. It was very good and I would make it again. I think Cheri is a little better today as I don’t think she was coughing as much. According to the weather report we were supposed to get a lot of rain today but only got a little shower this evening.
