Our Sundays are pretty much always the same and today was no different. We picked up Grandma and took her to church with us. We started a new eight week series today from Rick Warren. We are not a fan of Rick warren but after Pastor Randy’s message and then the video in Sunday school I feel that Cheri and I did get something out of it. Sometimes God leads us down a path that we are not sure about. If we could just learn to trust God we would all be better off. So after today I am looking forward to next week. Sunday school was late getting out and along with visiting it was after 1:00 pm when we got home. I settled in to watch the NASCAR race but it was rained out and will have to wait until tomorrow to watch it. So Cheri and I settle in for an afternoon of movies we had recorded. Plus keeping an eye on the weather as we have big storm coming in off the gulf tomorrow and are supposed to get some wind and a lot of rain. We also called Darren and Brooke this evening. Tomorrow is their first anniversary and they are patiently waiting for the new baby. Darren said that Brooke is counting the days. Their due date is the 21st.
