This morning Cheri was busy doing her Friday housework and laundry. I left at 9:30 am to make a stop at Lowe’s to pick up some Black Jack and then on to Jan’s to fix the roof where she said she had a leak in the sunroom. After she showed me where the leak was I got my ladder out of the car and proceeded to check out the roof. As it turned out the rain gutters where full of leaves, twigs, and acorns plus the downspouts where plugged. Because the water couldn’t get away it had backed up and caused the leak. So I spent 3 ½ hours cleaning the gutters and unplugging the downspouts. It was 2:30 pm when I got home and was ready for another shower and was hungry as I hadn’t taken time for lunch. So after a nice shower and a bowl of soup Cheri fixed for me, I was ready to relax the rest of the day. It wasn’t long after I got to the recliner that I was asleep, after an hour and half nap I felt much better. Cheri was also exhausted and took a nap. Later Cheri got a call from both Kari and Nikki thanking her for the Christmas presents. Cheri had made each of them eleven of the quit hangers that I had posted over the last six months. After supper we settled in for an evening of TV.
