Cheri and I went out to the Sunrise restaurant for breakfast this morning. Sure can tell the snowbirds are back as the place was packed and several people waiting to get in. Although we didn’t have to wait too long. Cheri and I split a meat lover’s omelet and both had enough to eat. After we eat we made stops at the Dollar store, Ollie’s, Beall’s, and Dollar Tree as Cheri was looking for some Christmas things. Then we headed to Publix’s for groceries and also a stop at Winn Dixey for some things we couldn’t get at Publix’s. It was a little pass noon when we got home. We were having Mike & Pam and Ron & Sandy over for supper this evening. So Cheri went right to work on getting things ready. I helped as much as I could but think I was in her way more than I helped. Cheri made New England clam chowder to have along with a garden salad and Philly cheesesteak on hoagie buns. She also made lemon and apple pies. We had a wonderful time visiting and after we eat we play a game of Aggravation which the ladies won. These are two couples that have been an inspiration with our walk with God. Thank you God for bring them to us.
