We had rain most all day, it was a good soaking rain and continued through the night. I checked the rain gauge and we received a little over an inch. Grandma had planned on going to church with us today but called and said that she didn’t want to go out in the rain. Pastor Randy’s message was from ACTS 2:41-47 “The People”. Our Sunday school lesson was “Giving Faithfully” 2 Corinthians 9:1-15. After Sunday school we went to see Rick and Gloria. Rick is still on the feeding tube and will be for a while as he has to strengthen the throat muscles so he doesn’t have pulmonary aspiration. We had a good visit with them and they are making a new list of things they want us to do for them. It was near 4:00 pm when we got home. We had our Sunday pizza for supper and tried to watch some TV but both of us were sleeping in our recliners and decided to call it an early night. Thank you God for the time we spent with you and Christian friends.
