Today I am remembering my dad as today was his birthday. We had good time’s together hunting and fishing. Cheri was busy all morning with Grandma taking her for two doctor appointments. It was after noon when she got home. She also found time to work in her sewing room. I left the house at 8:00 am to do many miscellanies jobs for Rick and Gloria. Rick has been fighting cancer for many months and not able to do any work. I started by cleaning the battery terminals on the riding lawn mower and putting the charger on it. Checked the water in the batteries in the motor home. Removed all the old caulking from the shower base and three vanities and then added new caulking. Repaired the side of one vanity, lazy Susan in the kitchen, cleaned floor grout in section of bathroom floor, and the garage door remote. After removing the battery charger from the lawn mower I tried to start it and no luck on getting it started as it hasn’t been started since October, well I found out that it would run better if you have gas in the tank. After putting some gas it stared right up. It was a long day and near 6:00 pm when I got home. We had leftover bean soup for supper. After my hot shower it was time to settle in for an evening of TV. Thank you God for a blessed day.
