It was an all-day of rain and wind, received another 2 ½ inches of rain. Also had a tornado touch down a mile an half from here and did damage to 80 homes. This morning we sat around the kitchen table and visited with Nikki until noon. We have been having a problem with the heat pump cycling off and on for a while and was sure it was the nest thermostat so I removed it and reinstalled the old one. Well that didn’t cure the problem, so I will be checking into that to see if I can find what is causing it to recycle. This afternoon Nikki and Cheri went shopping to get groceries for Grandma. I went out to work on the shadow boxes. A little later I got a call from Pam and they have an electrical problem with a ground fault breaker that wouldn’t reset. So I went over to check it out, found that the wiring that goes out to the garage had a fault in it. I was able to disconnect it and run a cord to the garage door opener. They still have a couple of outlets that I will have to rewire, plan on doing the project next week. Nikki and Cheri stopped over while I was visiting with Mike and Pam. Pam showed Nikki their new house and then we sat and visited for a while. It was time for supper when we got home. Cheri had a pot roast going in the crockpot and was ready for us to have for supper. Nikki worked on setting up her new computer that Darren sent her. Darren will be doing a remote install of the software that she will need. The evening was spent watching the last episode of Survivor, sure was an exciting season to watch. Thank you God for helping us through another day and having Nikki here with us.
