I thought I was going to
get the bathroom project done today but do to some problems it didn’t get done.
I had a very good morning working in the bathroom. But this afternoon wasn’t so
good. I had made a trip to Lowe’s to return some materials I didn’t need and to
pick up some additional caulking. I bought some different caulking and found it
was very hard to work with. I hope to get done tomorrow. Cheri was busy with laundry
and spent most of the day in her sewing room. This evening I got a call from a
lady in Tampa Bay country and wants me to remove carpet and lay ceramic tile in
her guest bed room and also install some crown molding. I told her it would be
July before I could do it but said that she would wait for me to do it. Cheri
fixed us breakfast for supper as we had eggs, bacon, hash browns, English muffin,
and juice. I was very happy because breakfast is my favorite meal. We watch a
new NCIS show that is about real NCIS cases. Also watched a new Property
Brother Home Forever. The Property Brothers was about the same just a different
name. Thank you God for a blessed day.

I left for work at 8:15 am
and still working on the shower project. I did have a good day but was challenged
as I had an end wall that wasn’t straight and had quite the problem getting it
straight and lined up with the shower base. But after a couple of hours I had
it ready to install the shower panels. I thought I would get all the panels
installed but because of the wall problem I didn’t get them all in. It was 5:00
pm when I quit for the day. Then I went to check out another job here in our
park. A guy called me today and said that he put in a new vanity and can’t get
the plumbing connected and also has a bathroom fan he wants installed. He had
tried to do the plumbing and installing the fan but really made a mess of it
and now wants me to do the install. So it was 5:45 pm when I got home and done
for the day. Cheri was busy with her usual Wednesday house work and then went
and got groceries for Grandma. She didn’t have much time to spend in her sewing
room. She also made a new recipe of beef enchiladas which was very good and
told Cheri she could fix them again. We started watching a new series called
Blood & Treasure. We watched the first episode last week and had trouble
getting into it but decided to give it another try with the second episode but
gave up half way there it. We did watch a couple other shows before calling it
a night. Thank you God for blessing us and guiding us through another day.

I started work a little
after 8:00 am so I could get new shower drain installed before it got too hot
outside. I did have a good day and got all the plumbing done although I did
have a water leak when I did the water test. Just one fitting that needed to be
tightened. I also got two pieces of the backer board installed. It was 4:30
when I got home to pick up a shower grab bar and install it for another client
here in the park. When all was said and done I was home around 5:30 pm. Time
for good long hot shower while Cheri was fixing baked pork chops along with the
leftover potato salad for supper. After Cheri got her Tuesday house work done
she went over to visit with Jean. She spent the rest of the day in her sewing
room. We settled in for an evening of TV more for Cheri as I napped until it
was time to go to bed. Thank you God for a blessed day.

When I was making plans
for work I forgot that today was a holiday and ended up working on a new
project. But I did take time to thank all the men and women that fought and
gave their lives so we could have our freedom. My project today was to remove
an old shower module and install a new one. Of course I ran into challenges I didn’t
plan on. I tried to run the plumbing without going under the house but that isn’t
going to work. It was in the 90’s today and too hot to be crawling under a
house with coveralls on. So I plan on doing that in the morning when it is
cooler. I also had to relocate some electric wires. I made a trip to Lowe’s to
get the underlayment along with plumbing supplies. It was 5:30 pm when I got
home really tired and ready for a hot shower. Cheri spent most of her day in
the sewing room making progress on the wall hanging she is making. She made potato
salad to have with a fresh made hamburger. We settled in for an evening of TV
or I should say it was more for me than Cheri because I was watching the rest
of the NASCAR race. Thank you God for guiding us through another day and again
thank you for all the men and women that fought for our freedom.

Grandma went to church
with us this morning. We had our pictures taken at church as they are going to
have directory that members can check out and will be on line and password
protected. It will be nice to put a name with some of the people that we met.
As I for one have a very hard time remembering names. Pastor Randy spoke on the
last days of Jesus and we had communion today. Sunday school was good and our
lesson today came from Mark 15:42-47, 16:1-8. After we dropped Grandma off we
made a stop at Lowe’s so I could get a shower grab bar for a client in our
park. We also made a stop at Harbor Freight so I could get some saw blades
which I will need for tomorrows work. The rest of the afternoon was spent
watching movies and napping. I did watch some of the NASCAR race this evening
but went to bed before it was over. I recorded it so I can watch the rest of it
tomorrow. Thank you God for a blessed day with Christian friends.

Cheri and I were at the
Hole in One donut shop by 7:15 am for our usual Saturday morning breakfast and
start to the day. When we got home Cheri went to her sewing room for the day. I
went outside and worked on building the camper bed frame. Things went slow as I
cut the material and did some redesigning. By 4:00 pm I was about 95 percent
done. I still have some screws that need to be installed and glue on the legs.
The bed frame expands when it is needed for sleeping and then can be slid
together for more room during the day. It was very hot outside working with the
temp at 93 degrees. I did work under the carport and had the fan going which
helped. I got a call from a lady here in the park and wanted me to come over to
see if I could install a safety bar in their shower. I will be doing it
sometime next week. I also got a call from another party that wants me to
rebuild their toilet with new insides. Cheri fixed us barbeque pork and chips
for supper along with cookies for dessert. We are pretty much caught up on our
TV shows and also watched a Hallmark movie which Cheri really liked.

My day started early with
breakfast and Bible Study in Dade City. We meet every Friday morning at 6:30
am. I had to get around as I had an 8:00 am appointment to take a client to get
a new shower base and surround that I will be installing next week. I also got
the new screen I made installed for another client. Cheri was busy with the
Friday laundry, ironing, getting a haircut, and helping me with moving some
lumber. She even found time to work in her sewing room. The rest of my day was
spent working on building a bed frame for a friend’s camper. With the temp
being in the low 90’s I set up my work station under the carport and had the
fan running. It took some time to figure out how I wanted to build the bed
frame. She gave me several pallet boards that she wanted me to use. I tried to
use them but they were just too crooked and warped to make them work. So I headed
to Lowe’s to get some new lumber. I have some of the lumber cut and ready to
start building but put it on hold for the day. I had to get showered and
cleaned up to be ready to leave the house at 3:45 pm. We met Mike and Pam at
Walgreen’s where we left our car and rode with Mike and Pam. We headed to Wesley Chapel to have dinner at Bahama
Breeze. We went early so we could have their half price appetizers and we made
a meal of them. It was a good time with friends and good food. When we got home
we settled in for a normal evening of TV. Thank you God for a blessed day and
time spent with good friends.

I went out early this
morning as I had a roof to repair and wanted to get started on it before it got
too hot. I was done with the roof by 10:00 am and then went to Lowe’s for a new
can of stain blocker as mine quit working before I got the ceiling job done. My
next stop was here in the park to repair some window trim at had come loose. Then
I was back home building the second screen for Barbara’s skylight, after I got
it done I went over to install it but she wasn’t home. I had another project of
building a bed frame for a camper but it was getting to hot to be out so at
1:30 pm I called it a day. Cheri got the laundry done early and went shopping
this forenoon. This afternoon she worked some in her sewing room until I came
in and said I was done for the day. I took a shower and got cleaned up and
settled in to watch some TV and do some napping. It felt really good taking off
most of the afternoon. We had leftover pork roast for supper. It was just
another evening of TV watching some new shows we found. Thank you God for
bringing us through another day.

I headed out at 8:15 am to
the Sunday school kitchen project. I finished the closet door trim, fixed a
small leak in temporary drain from the kitchen sink, loaded all the trash and
took it to the dumpster, and got all my tool loaded and back home. Later I
cleaned out truck and took a load of metal to the recycle center which netted
me $9.55. Then it was on to the car wash as I still had a lot of love bugs that
needed to be removed. I was home at 3:00 pm ready for my shower and time to
rest for a while. Cheri was busy with her Wednesday house work along with
reading in her novel. We met Mike and Pam at 5:30 pm for supper at Calver’s.
After supper and visiting we headed over to Ron and Sandy’s as they were
hosting a prayer time for Michelle Hanson. Her heart has only two chambers and
has had problems her whole life. She is going back to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester
Minnesota next week. They have a team of doctors that work on cases like hers.
It was around 9:30 pm when we got home. Thank you God for a good day and time
spent with prayer warriors for Michelle.

I got up this morning
feeling a little light headed and very low on energy. I did head up to church
to work in the Sunday school kitchen. I got the kitchen light rewiring done and
all the new ceiling tiles installed. I also worked on the new closet door trim
on the inside of the closet. Lea stopped by with the lumber for me to use in
building the two bed frames for her camper. On the way home I stopped at Lowe’s
for some additional trim for the closet door. It was 4:00 pm when I got home
and really tired, ready for a good hot shower. Cheri put a pork roast in the
crockpot this morning to have for supper. She got her Tuesday house work done,
went to the hospital to check on Pam who is still having test done, and did
some grocery shopping. I tried to watch some TV this evening but ended up
napping. Thank you God for being with us today for guidance and help.

My day started out with an
8:00 am dentist appointment for my six month checkup and cleaning. While I was
waiting to get in I got a call from Mike that he had taken Pam to the ER as she
had really high blood pressure and a really bad headache. I called Cheri to let
her know and when I got done with my appointment Cheri and I went over to the
hospital to see her and Mike. They were in the process of doing all kinds of
test and the latest as of this evening they were doing an MRI on her head.
Today I worked on rebuilding a bank of cabinet drawers for a couple here in our
park. Installed a screen in a skylight and need to build another one. When I
got home I cut out a 2’ by 4’ piece of plywood and painted it for the Sunday
school kitchen light that goes in the suspended ceiling. I also made a trip to
Lowe’s to get the electrical materials I need to rewire the light correctly. By
the time all was said and done it was 3:30 pm. It was in the low 90’s with high
humidity making it hard to work outside, Needless to say I was ready for a
shower to clean up and get cooled off. Cheri was feeling exhausted today so
took it easy for the day. Cheri fixed us breakfast for supper, we had eggs,
bacon, hash browns, and English muffins. It was a normal evening of catching up
on our recorded TV shows. Thank you God for a blessed day.

Cheri had to get around
earlier this morning as she had to get the sandwiches and strawberries ready to
take for the Sunday school brunch. We left at 8:30 am for church. Grandma didn’t
go today as she is having a lot of pain and decide it would be best to stay
home. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Which Wisdom Works?” from James
3:15-18. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Prepares” from Mark 14:3-11,
32-36. After Sunday school we went to see Rick and Gloria as Rick had fallen
and fractured his hip along with some other health issues. On the way home we
stopped to see Grandma and seems to be doing ok. When we got home we changed
clothes and then went to see Jim and Linda. Jim is taking a drug for the cancer
he has. They haven’t been to church and Sunday school for a few week and was
good to spend a little time with them. It was 5:00 pm when we finally got home
for the day. Cheri fixed us pizza for supper and then had a normal evening of
TV. Thank you God for time spent with church friends.

We met Mike and Pam at the
Hole in One donut shop at 7:30 am for breakfast and a good visit. Mike is
having trouble with his van that the starter doesn’t always kick in to start it.
So I told Mike to see if he could get a new starter and I would come over and
install it for him. Will shortly after I got home Mike called and said that he
had the starter. So I packed up some tools and my floor jack and headed over to
their place. It turned out to be a bigger job than I thought it would be, had
lot of trouble get the starter shield off and more trouble getting it back on.
Plus I wasn’t feeling very good, for some reason I had a sour stomach which didn’t
help. When I got home I found Cheri relaxing as she was still exhausted from
all the work yesterday. I showered and got cleaned up and then Cheri and I made
a trip to Sam’s Club. It is Cheri’s turn to provide lunch at Sunday school tomorrow.
She always goes to Sam’s to get the chicken salad and crescent rolls to make
sandwiches. She also bought some fresh strawberries to have. It was 5:00 pm
before we got home. Cheri fixed us spaghetti and garlic toast for supper. We watched
some shows we had recorded. Cheri gave up and went to bed as I stayed up to
watch the NASCAR race that didn’t get over until 10:30 pm. Thank you God for
time spent with friends and safe travels.

I headed out the door a
little after 6:00 am for Breakfast and Bible study in Dade City. Once again
there were only two of us. After breakfast I headed over to church to continue
working on the kitchen floor. Cheri took Grandma for her doctor’s appointment
and had to wait an hour before getting to see the doctor. Grandma got a good
report and is doing ok. Cheri stopped at Jersey Mikes to get subs for out
lunch. She got here at 11:45 am and I was just finishing the last piece of
flooring. After lunch Cheri was busy cleaning and putting things away that had
to be removed from the closet while installing the door. I had to install the
door opening floor trim and cut the bottom of the panty door so it would open.
I build a temporary frame for the kitchen sink and got that reinstalled while
we wait for a new sink base. By the time the cleaning was done and my tools
loaded in the truck it was already 4:00 pm. I still have more work to do but
the church is using the class room Saturday and we have our Sunday school
lesson on Sunday. So I am done until Monday. Cheri fixed us chipped beef on
toast for supper. It was a short evening of TV as we were both really tired and
called it a night early. Thank you God for all of your blessing today.

We had a good day working
on the Sunday school kitchen. Cheri, Frank, and Jerry finished the painting
which was good because it had to be done before I could start laying the new
flooring. I left the house early so I could stop at Lowe’s to get some
materials so I could finish the new door framing. Part of the kitchen had a suspended
ceiling and the tile were broken so Cheri and I removed them and will have to
get some new tiles. Also found a very bad electrical wiring problem that will
have to be fixed. I did get a good start on the flooring before it was time to
quit for the day. I also got a call from a guy here in our park that was having
a problem with wiring in his truck. He had installed front sensors and couldn’t
figure out on to wire in a switch for them. So I stopped on my way home and
showed him how it had to be wired. I also stopped a Lowe’s to get the new
ceiling tiles. It was 5:30 pm when I got home. Cheri was ready start supper
while I took my shower. We had ribeye steak along with a baked potato. We
watched the season finale of Survivor and was surprised of the ending. Thank
you God for guiding us through this day.

It was a long day of work
for Cheri and me. I was at the Sunday school building at 8:00 am and Cheri came
soon after. I helped Cheri get things set up so she could paint. Before she got
started Frank came and they went right to work on painting. A while later Jerry
came and also helped paint. Frank and Jerry worked until about 11:00 am. Then that
left Cheri to do the trim painting. I worked on the closet door and got that
installed, still have to do some extra trim work on the inside because the wall
was thick with all the plaster and lath. After lunch Cheri continued with trim
painting and I started putting down the underlayment for the new flooring.
After Cheri got the painting done she did a lot of clean up and rearrange all
the stuff that was sitting around. Needed to get things organized because they
there having Bible study in there this evening. Cheri headed for home and I continued
with the underlayment. It was 5:00 pm before I got done. After a good hot
shower Cheri had New England clam chowder waiting for me. It was a normal
evening of TV along with some napping before we called it a night. Thank you
God for a blessed day. I forgot to take pictures today and will try to remember
to take some tomorrow.

This morning I took Cheri
over to Tampa Bay country and dropped her off at Don & Dee’s. She is going
with Dee and some of her friends for High Tea at a place in Brooksville. Dee is
going to bring her home so Dee can see the quilts that Cheri has done along
with the things we have done in our home. After I dropped Cheri off I headed to
Dade City back to work in our Sunday school building. The day started with
painting. Frank was there to help paint and later Jerry came and took over the
painting I was doing. I then worked on opening the wall for a new door into the
closet in the kitchen. It took me all afternoon to get the opening made and to
clean up all the old plaster and lath. Frank had quit painting at 11:30 am as he
had another appointment. Jerry quit to go for lunch and when he came back I
told him that I would be making a lot of dust and that he shouldn’t be there.
So both Frank and Jerry will be back tomorrow. It was after 4:00 pm when I got
home. We had leftovers for supper. We both fell asleep watching TV and decided
to go to bed and watch TV there. Thank you God for all the guidance today and
safe travels.

It was a busy day for
Cheri and me. Cheri had an 8:00 am dental appointment, six month checkup and
cleaning. She also did some grocery shopping, her Monday house work, and made a
new recipe of baked taco which was very good. I started work 8:00 am on the
kitchen floor at the building where we have our Sunday school. Spent the
morning getting the old sink and cabinet out and started leveling the floor.
When noon came I headed home for lunch and some materials to fill in where the
sink base sat. There is a total of three old layers of flooring. I am worried
that there could be asbestos in the old flooring so I am just covering it with
a layer of Luan underlayment. While I was home at noon I was going to Lowe’s
for the underlayment but it started to rain and could have the underlayment get
wet so I headed back with the materials I got from my shop and did get the
floor ready for the underlayment. It was 4:30 pm when I got home and told Cheri
that I wanted to go to Lowes. She went with me and got the paint for the
kitchen while I got the underlayment. We took all the materials up to Dade City
so I would be ready in the morning. It was after 6:00 pm when we got home.
After a shower and supper it was already past 7:00 pm. So it was a short
evening of TV. Checked the rain gauge and we received 2 inches of a much needed
rain.

Happy Mother’s Day to all
the wonderful mothers. Grandma went to church with us this morning. Church and
Sunday school were both very good. After our Sunday school lesson was over we
moved the stove, refrigerator, and cabinet out of the kitchen so it will be
ready for me to work on the floor tomorrow. When we got home we changed our clothes
and headed to Lumber Liquidators to pick up Mike and Kathy’s flooring which I
will be installing this summer. After we got done with that we had about an
hour to relax before picking up Grandma and taking her out for Mother’s Day
dinner. We went to ABC’s Pizza. It just opened a few weeks ago. Grandma had spaghetti
and meatballs. Cheri and I had pizza and hot wings. Cheri got a Mother Day card
and phone call from Nikki. She also got a bouquet of flowers and a phone call
from Darren. She got an e-mail from Kari wishing her a happy Mother’s day. This
evening we watched the rest of the NASCAR race I recorded Saturday. Thank you
God for blessed day and time spent with you and friends.

Cheri and I were at the
Hole in One donut shop a little before 7:00 am this morning. We had our usual
Saturday morning breakfast and was back home by 7:45 am. I made a trip to Lowe’s
to get some new saw blades and check out some materials I may need for the
church floor project. After getting home from Lowe’s Cheri and I headed out to
check Larry and Denise’s house and everything was OK. From there we headed to
the Sprint store to make some changes in our cell service. We were able to
lower our monthly rate by $60 and actually have better service with unlimited
data. After that was done we headed to Wesley Chapel as Cheri had a pillow that
needed to be returned. We were back home by noon. I loaded a couple of things
in the truck and headed to Tampa Bay country to install a new bathroom faucet
and then to Ron & Sandy’s to repair a wiring problem Ron was having with
the attic exhaust fans. It was near 4:00 pm when I got home. Cheri had been
working in her sewing room this afternoon. While I was taking a shower Cheri
fixed us clam chowder for supper. It was a normal evening of TV with me napping
through most of the shows. I recorded the NASCAR race because I knew I couldn’t
stay awake for it. Thank you God for a blessed day.

My Friday was a little
different this morning. There was only going to be two of us for breakfast and
Bible study. Being we both live in Zephyrhills we decided to meet at Sunrise
Eatery here in Zephyrhills. Plus we met at 7:00 am instead of the 6:30 am. Today
we studied Ephesians 5:1-21. So because of the later start it I was later
getting home. I checked out a roof here in the park and will have to do some
caulking around a roof vent and where the shed roof meets the house, wasn’t
able to do the caulking today as the roof was still wet from the shower we had.
This afternoon I had a 1:00 pm appointment in Tampa Bay country to split the
power to four ceiling fans so they would each have their own switch. After I
got that done I had a 3:00 pm appointment to repair an entertainment center
door, remove a large glass top from a coffee table, and check out the attic on
putting in a floor for storage. I told her I wouldn’t do the attic floor until
fall when it is cooler, way too hot to be working in the attic now. It was near
5:00 pm when I got home. Cheri was busy with the Friday laundry and working in
her sewing room. I did some design work on building a bed frame for a new camper
that a friend of ours from church is getting. It was a normal evening with TV
and Cheri fixed us a peanut, butter finger, and caramel ice cream Sundae for a
teat while watching TV. Thank you God for everything you did for us today.

Today would have been
Grandpa’s birthday, he would have been 99. I caught another feral cat in the
trap last night, which make four over the last year. I hadn’t planned on
working out of the park today but as long as I had to take the cat for a ride
out into the country I decided to do some work over in Tampa Bay country. I
repaired a ceiling fan light that wasn’t working and then checked on another
job in the park but can’t do that until Friday after 3:00 pm. So I headed back
home with a stop at Lowe’s for some materials. I got home at noon which was
good because I forgot to take the lunch that Cheri packed for me. This
afternoon I went to the church to get a key for the Sunday school building so I
could measure the kitchen floor as I will be installing a new floor next week.
When I got back I did some work on a skylight for a lady here in our park. Then
home to pick up Cheri so we could go to Lumber Liquidators to pick out and buy
the flooring for the Sunday school building. After getting the flooring and
delivering it we stopped at Calver’s for supper. It was after 6:00 pm when we
finally got home. Just in time to get ready to go over to Mike and Kathy’s for
a visit. They gave us a lot of food that they had left over from their refrigerator
as they are leaving tomorrow to go north for the summer. Cheri was busy today
with laundry, taking Grandma for her lab appointment, and get groceries for
Grandma. Later this evening we watched a couple of shows we had recorded. Thank

My day started here at

ground fault breaker and can’t get in the garage when it trips. On the way home
I stopped to adjust the door on the lanai as it wasn’t a tight fit and the love
bugs were getting in. We have been in Florida full time for six years and this
is the worst the love bugs have been. I took the truck through the car wash
again today as I had a really good collection of them. The car wash was full of
cars and back up way out onto the street waiting to get in. I guess the car
wash is happy to see the love bug season. It was 5:00 pm before I got home.
Cheri had done her Wednesday house work, made trip to the bank and grocery
store, made me a batch of chocolate cookies, and fixed us a supper of hamburgers
and corn on the cob. It was another normal evening of me napping while trying
to watch TV. Thank you God for being with us and giving us guidance today.

I was back at work in
Tampa Bay country at the same place I was working yesterday. Today I patched a
hole in a wall and painted it, Painted some grout around a tile I replaced last
year, cleaned the old grout and caulking from the master shower and put in new
caulking, and did some painting in the bathroom on the ceiling and also painted
on the ceiling in the office. I was done by 3:00 pm but didn’t get home until
4:00 pm. I am glad I was working inside as it has been near 90 degrees the last
couple of days. While I was taking a shower Cheri was getting supper ready.
Cheri had been busy with her usual Tuesday house work and also went next door
to visit with Jean. It was a normal evening of TV and me napping. Thank you God
for a blessed day.

I had an appointment at
9:00 am over in Tampa Bay country. I installed a new kitchen faucet, new ceiling
fan remote, reinstall some crown molding, tightened ceiling fan blades on four
fans, installed new batteries in the fan remotes, and put some stain blocker on
two ceiling stains. On the way home I stopped at Lowe’s to get a quart of
ceiling paint for tomorrow. Cheri spent the day in her sewing room. I didn’t
get a chance to see how much she got done on her quilt project. Cheri fixed us
brats and potato salad for supper along with chocolate chip cookies for desert.
We watched the food channel this evening, very interesting how they made the
deserts. We couldn’t stay up to watch the final so we recorded it and headed
for bed. Thank you God for all the guidance and safe travels.

Grandma did go to church
with us today. Pastor Randy’s message was titled “Only One Life” from John
1:40-42, 2Corinthians 4:17-18. We all need to get out and help minister other
people. Our Sunday school lesson was titled “Purifies” from Mark 11:17-19;
12:41-44. This afternoon Cheri and I watched some movies we had recorded plus
we both did some napping. I was going to watch the NASCAR race but it got
rained out and will start tomorrow at noon. Later this afternoon we had a
strong wind come through that did do some damage to some lanais here in our
park. It had looked like we were going to get a lot of rain but that didn’t
happen. Our neighbor Mike had a limb come off one tree and a broken one on
another tree. This evening we had the usual Sunday evening meal of pizza and
more TV. Thank you God for time spent with you today.

Our day started like every
other Saturday with a trip to Hole in One donut shop for breakfast. It was
closer to 7:30 am when we arrived. When we got home I went to work outside
before it got too hot. Mike and Kathy are leaving next week for the summer and
gave us a potted flower they planted a couple of week ago and don’t think it
would make it through the summer without water. So I went and dug it up and
transplanted it in one of our big flower pots, looks nice and already has a lot
of blooms on it. Then I built a window screen for Barbara to put in her sky
light. After I got done with it I took it over to her place and found that it
didn’t fit so back home and rebuilt it. Cheri was busy working in her sewing
room and had called Pam to see how they were doing and Pam told Cheri that tile
on the front of their kitchen counter was coming off. So Cheri and I went over
to see if I could fix it. I was able to get some glue in behind it and press it
back in place. I added some tape to hold in in place while the glue dried, have
to wait a couple of days to see if it worked. When we got home it was already
up into the 80’s so we took the rest of the day off reading and watching TV. We
did venture out later this evening to Calver’s to have a concrete mixer which
we were disappointed with as it didn’t have any flavor. Thank you God for
working with us through our projects.

My day started at 6:10 am
leaving for my accountability group breakfast and Bible study in Dade City. We
were studying Ephesians 4:20-32. After reading this you would have thought it
was written a few days ago instead of over 2,000 years ago. Cheri was busy with
the Friday laundry, going to the bank, getting groceries and medicine for
Grandma, and working in her sewing room. I had a 9:30 am appointment to repair
ten window locks that wouldn’t lock, repair a floor outlet, and repair water
heater wiring. Then this afternoon I worked at a place here in the park caulking
a shower, clean bathroom fan vents, change smoke detector batteries, and hang a
mail box. It was 4:00 pm when I got done with all the projects. While I was
taking a shower Cheri was preparing a supper of ribeye steak along with a baked
potato. Just another evening with the TV and some reading. Thank you God for a
blessed day.

I had a 9:30 am
appointment over in Tampa Bay country. Had to change an air filter and hang a clock.
While I was in Tampa Bay country I stopped to see how Bob was doing. Then a
stop at Don & Dee’s as they have some work that needs to be done and will
start that on Monday. On the way home I stopped at church to take some measurements
on face wood around the door that needs to be replaced. When I got back to the
park I stopped at Barbara’s has she had a new roof done with new skylights and
wants me to do something that will darken them some as she says too much light
is coming in. I got all of this done and was home by 12:30 pm. This afternoon I
went to Wal-Mart to pick up Jean’s tire that I took to be repaired yesterday.
Also stopped at Lowe’s to get the materials I will need Monday. When I got back
home I installed the tire on Jean’s car. Then decided to go and get a haircut
and take the truck though the carwash as it was really covered with love bugs
that I collected today. Cheri was busy with laundry, ironing, and spending time
in her sewing room. Cheri fixed baked chicken wrapped with bacon along with Tater
tots for supper. Just another evening of TV which I was able to say awake to
watch. Thank you God for helping us though another day.

I was back to work on the
flooring project at 9:00 am. By noon all the flooring was down. Still needed to
do all the transition strips but first time to go home for lunch. When I got
home Cheri was out washing the love bugs off the car. Yep it is love bug season
again which last around two to three weeks. I never knew what love bugs where
until I moved to Florida. If you don’t get them off the car right away they can
stain the paint. After lunch I headed back to the floor project and got the transition
strips installed. Another happy customer. It was 3:00 pm when I got home and
unloaded the truck with the tools I done need for tomorrow’s project. Then I
went next door to remove a flat tire from Jean’s car and took it to Wal-Mart to
be repaired which will be ready to pick up tomorrow. From Wal-Mart I took the
car through the carwash. Cheri spent most of her day in the sewing room. We had
left over roast beef in gravy over toast for supper. Spent the evening in front
of the TV. Most of our shows are done for the season, time to do some channel surfing
to find something to watch. Thank you God for a blessed day and all the guidance
you provided for us.

I was back working on my
flooring project today. I didn’t get as much done today. It took a lot of time
laying the flooring in the hallway and cutting around four doors, lots of extra
cuts. Yes I did make some wrong cuts and would have to start over again. But by
4:00 pm the hallway was done and got a start on the dining room. Cheri was busy
with her Tuesday house work, going out to pay Grandma’s rent, and Jean came
over for a visit. We had leftover roast beef for supper. The evening was spent
watching TV and I actually stayed awake to watch, well mostly. Thank you God
for a blessed day.
