Cheri didn’t sleep last night as she had a lot on her mind with doing the Linger Longer. So she was up at 5:00 am to bake biscuits for Linger Longer and busy getting things packed up to take to church. Grandma did go to church with us today. As soon as we got to church I helped unload all the food and supplies Cheri needed in the church kitchen. She spent the rest of the morning preparing the noon meal along with help from the other ladies in our Sunday school class. After church and Sunday school it was time for all of us to have dinner and fellowship together. I did a count and there were 47 people. It was a good time for all of us. It was 2:00 pm when we got home. After Cheri got thing put away she went to bed for a much needed nap. I settled in to watch the NASCAR race that ended in a rain delay and will be run tomorrow afternoon. A while later Cheri joined me and we watch several shows we had recorded. We were both still full from our noon meal so we skipped the pizza night and settled for a bowl of ice cream. Thank you God for time spent with you and Christian friends.
