Sharp's Travels

Wow! It’s the first day of May already hard to believe. This morning when we walked we see Dean & Betty hadn’t left. After we finished our walk we stopped back by their place to see if something was wrong. They said they got up at 3:15 am and turned on the TV to check the weather and decided to wait another day as there was a lot of very bad weather that they would be heading through. It was very warm this morning and muggy. So I went to work right away on cleaning out the basement on the 5th wheel and also the shed. I have everything that we want to take with us. I also changed the vacuum cleaner bag and was going to put in a new water filter and found that I didn’t have one. So I got to take a trip to Lowe’s to get one. I took the motorcycle and had planned on going for a ride this afternoon but after the trip over to Lowe’s I decided it was too hot for bike riding. Cheri worked inside the 5th wheel and has everything ready to leave. We had planned on leaving Monday morning, but that got changed when Cheri called to see about our new eye glasses. We were told that they wouldn’t be in until Monday or Tuesday. After looking at the long range weather report it is probably a good thing as the weather doesn’t look very good for Monday and Tuesday. We didn’t do our evening walk as it was too hot and muggy to be out. We had a high of 90 degrees and at 11:00 pm when we went to bed it was still 79 degrees.
