Sharp's Travels

It started to rain around 3:00 am and I thought boy it’s going to be fun closing up the 5th wheel in the rain. We were both up early and it did stop raining for a while and it was just long enough to get the 5th wheel closed up and ready to travel. It did start to sprinkle while I was loading the motorcycle. We were on the road by 8:15 am. We drove in and out of rain most of the day, not a hard rain so it wasn’t that bad. We are here in Hamilton Ohio spending the night in the drive way of Ron & Mary Jo Walton. They are friends from our Alaskan trip. They have a beautiful place with a huge lawn. We had a wonderful visit with them and Mary Jo fixed us a great supper. While we were visiting a strong thunder storm came through it only lasted about an hour but we got an inch and half up rain, was a lot of water running across the front and back yard. After supper we sat outside on the porch visiting and looking at pictures. I had to call it a night early as I had a very bad headache. It has been many years since I have had one this bad. Cheri, Ron and Mary Jo played some dominos.
