Gay May-12-10

Cheri and I did our morning walk, first time since we have been here at Darren and Jodi’s, no reason for not doing it, just laziness. I took a ride back to the welding shop where I got the fender mount welded. I just didn’t feel good about the amount of money I gave the guy that did the welding. He did a great job and felt like he deserved more so I gave them some additional cash. I apologized to him for not giving him more yesterday. It really was one of the best welding jobs I have ever seen. He said I didn’t have to do that and I said he dissevered the extra money and it made me feel better. When I got back to Darren and Jodi’s I asked Cheri if she wanted to go for a bike ride. She said where are we going? I said I don’t know, just for a ride. As it turned out we head north on I 85 for about 25 miles and then off on a lot of different roads through the country side. We stopped at a neat little hole in the wall restaurant called Little Hooties in Hoschton. We each had soup and sandwich which was excellent. Our ride took us in the Gainesville area. We got back around 3:30 pm. It was almost 10:00 pm before Darren got home from work. That’s one of things about being an IT person, they half to do a lot of their work after other people have gone home. We talked for a while and then it was time to call it a night.
