What a great day it was,
temps in the mid 70’s and lots of sunshine and a light breeze. But the weather forecaster
says it is back to some cold by the weekend. That is why we should enjoy each
day that God provides for us. Cheri was busy cleaning house, taking things to
Good Well, and picking things up at the drug store. I worked on the quilt rack
and got it put together for Cheri while she was out and about. I set it in the
sunroom and I must say I think it looks pretty good. Cheri still has to stain
and varnish it. I was just ready to take the motorcycle to the repair shop here
in town as I have a problem with the rear tire when Cheri got home. So we had
lunch together and then I headed to the repair shop. They had installed the
tire a couple of years ago. They took pictures of it and sent them to the manufacture.
As it turned out the manufacture wanted better pictures so they wanted to keep
the bike and remove the tire. It seems like companies like you to know about
their wonderful warranties until it comes time to make good on them. The guys
at the repair shop treated me with respect and are doing everything they can to
help me. They asked if it would be ok to keep the bike for a few days and even
gave me a ride home. When I got home Cheri had the quilt rack all loaded with her
quilts. We have company coming tomorrow and wanted them on display. We decided
to go and see how Ron was doing, found him in great spirits and doing much
better than most do. He had been to therapy twice and has to be able to bend
his knee to 75 degrees before he goes home tomorrow, well by the second therapy
session he was already at 110 degrees. On the way home I asked Cheri if she wanted
to stop at Home Goods because I screw up yesterday, got a big smile and she
said yes. We also stopped and filled the gas tank at $1.97 per gallon.
