Gay Jan-6-15

We had the most beautiful sunrise
this morning, much prettier than most sunsets. The old saying goes that red
sunrise in the morning sailors take warning. Well that wasn’t the case today as
it was a wonderful winter day with temps in the low to mid 70’s and sunshine.
Cheri was busy taking pictures out of frames and putting them into photo
albums, no room to hang all of them. I looked at some of the old pictures and
then looked in the mirror and wonder who I was looking at. Funny how everybody gets
older and you don’t, well I am here to tell you that’s not true. I worked on
Cheri’s quilt rack until it was time to take Grandma for her B-12 shot, had to
wait an extra half hours as the nurse said that they had been in a meeting. So when
I got home I went back to work on the quilt rack. I already changed the plan
from what I had planned on doing, but I am sure it will be better. I quit at
3:30 pm as I needed to get cleaned up for Men’s Night Out at church. Mel, Mike,
and Bob when with me, it was the first time for me. We had Wings and Fries to
eat, must have been around 75 guys, nice turn out. Pastor Randy and Pastor Carl
were our speakers for the evening. Pam and Cheri went out to eat, guess they
thought that they had to go out to eat just because we guys did. It was another
wonderful day God provided for us.
