Gay Jan-20-15

We got an e-mail from
Grandma saying that we needed to order medicine and get groceries for her. So
after we dropped the motorcycle off at the repair shop to have a new rear tire
installed we went to Wal-Mart to get her medicine and groceries. By the time we
were done with all of that it was time to go to Mel and Jan’s as they had
invited us to their place for lunch. They have a very nice winter home and Mel
and Jan showed us all the improvements that they have been doing. After lunch
we sat and visited until 4:00 pm. We needed to pick up the motorcycle before
the shop closed. As it turned out it looks like the old tire would have been
ok, cost little over $300 to find that out, better to be safe than sorry. When you
have only two wheels it is much more important to keep them in good shape. I
did bring the old tire home and I am going to take it to Bike Week and see if
the Dunlop dealer will change their mind on the warranty. This evening Larry
and Denise came over to play cards, first time we have seen them since they got
back from Texas. We played two games of Hand, Knee, and Foot. Cheri and Denise
won one and we guys won the other one, no bragging rights today.
