We went to church and took Grandma with us. We didn’t go for lunch today as it takes so long with waiting to get into a restaurant. So we just came home. Cheri fixed pork chops for dinner while I worked with Direct TV to get the DVR replacement hooked up. Things went well until I had to get it authorized which I tried to do on the internet. That is when things went south. So I called for help and got a lady that was very nice and helped me through it. There were many steps that were left out of the directions I received. The bad things is we lost a lot of shows we had recorded on the old DVR. Maybe we can still watch them by streaming them. I just got done with the TV and it was time to leave and head back to church for the 3:00 pm Christmas program. It lasted almost two hours and must have taken at least seventy five people to put it on. We could see they spent a lot of time getting it done. It was a little past five when we got home. We settled in to watch the Green Bay Packers play the Dallas Cowboys which I was recording. That was the only thing I got set up on the DVR. Tomorrow I will have to set up all of our favorite shows to be recorded.
