It was cold this morning by Florida standards. It was 45 degrees and it felt like it was that cold in the house before I started the furnace to warm things up. Later in the day it was better but still on the cold side with a stiff wind all day. I managed to find things to do inside to stay warm. I spent most of the morning e-mailing Christmas letters to friends. Also spent some time getting my e-mail contact list set up on our new computer. After trying different things I finally figured out how to get them into my contact list. I had enough computer time for the day and will work on the contact list another day. I worked on getting the rest of the kitchen walls ready for Cheri to paint. I still have a little more to do and they will be ready. Cheri spent all day working on her latest quilt project. Later this afternoon I got together all the things that I didn’t need to take back to Lowe’s plus we needed to made a stop at Wal-Mart. We know that Saturday isn’t the best day to go to Wal-Mart and it being Christmas shopping we were dreading the trip but all in all things went pretty good. It was around 4:30 pm when we got home. We sat and relaxed a bit after we got thing put away from our shopping. Cheri fixed breakfast for supper, hash browns, eggs, bacon, and English muffins with blackberry jelly. One of my favorite meals. After supper we covered up with blankets and settled in for an evening of TV.
