Cheri had a fasting lab this morning at 8:30 am so we went out for breakfast at the Sunrise restaurant afterwards. After breakfast I dropped Cheri off at Hobby Lobby and I took the car back to get the tire fixed again as it still has the slow leak in it. They told me that they could get it done until later in the day so I got an appointment for 3:30 pm. So Cheri didn’t have much time to shop. When we got home Cheri went to the sewing room to work on her quilt and I cleaned up the tile getting it ready for the tile pencils to be installed. After lunch we took Grandma to Wal-Mart so she could have her hair cut and we picked up groceries for her and ourselves. When we got back home we were ready to sit and relax for a while. Then it was time for me to take the car to have the tire fixed. The patch that was put in wasn’t done right and that is why it was leaking. On the way home I made a stop at Lowe’s to pick up some contact cement to install the tile pencils. By the time all was said and done it was near 5:00 pm when I got home. Cheri was busy in the kitchen making shrimp scampi for supper. It was really good and have some leftover for tomorrow. Around 6:00 pm we got our daily lighting and thunder but this time we got some rain. It didn’t last long but did get just under a half inch.
