Cheri was busy doing her usual Wednesday house work and then spent time in her sewing room. I worked on cutting all the pencil tiles which took a lot longer than I thought it would. It was 1:00 pm when I got done. We skipped lunch today because Cheri fixed us a big breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, and juice. We had a 2:00 pm meeting over at Grandma’s with a case worker. Cheri signed Grandma up about five years ago to see about getting her help with laundry and house cleaning. Well her name finally came up and today we had the interview. She was accepted and starting Monday someone will come twice a week and spend two and a half hours cleaning, doing laundry, making beds, and washing dishes. On the way home we took the car though the car wash which is now six dollars which still isn’t too bad as I try to do it every other week. It was around 4:00 pm when we got home. We rested a bit before Cheri fixed the rest of the shrimp scampi for supper. Around 6:00 pm the thunder and lightning came and we did get a little shower from it, less than a ¼ inch.
